Chapter 1101 - 1102: I knew I could rely on you
Idan, using his power over the Kingdom, sought out his older sister, Irene. After making sure she wasn't busy, he teleported her to his place."Brother," Irene greeted as she appeared.
"Sister, I ask you to take care of our new guests and their charges," Idan pointed at the beasts.
"Show them the Kingdom and bring them up to date. Help them adapt to the Dungeon and maybe even introduce them to the others so they can explore the Dungeon Simulator together."
As he spoke, Irene had time to carefully examine all seven of the animals and noticed that they were unusual.
"Okay, I'll get on it," she readily agreed.
"Great, thanks," — Idan said happily.
"Guys, this is my older sister, Irene. She is one of the main leaders of the Kingdom, so I advise you to listen to her words."
The beasts, keeping silent, began to study Irene carefully, and she, in turn, examined them no less attentively.
Leaving the beasts in the care of his older sister, Idan teleported to Essora's house to meet with Arabel and discuss everything that had happened.
"You came back so quickly," Arabel said with a smile that showed no sign of displeasure at being distracted. On the contrary, she was genuinely glad to see him. Having received such a moment, she wrapped Idan in her arms, as if wanting to absorb his warmth and energy.
"Well, you're probably already aware of what's going on," Idan replied, gently hugging her back. He knew that her avatar had already seen the appearance of new beasts and his return.
"Not really. So tell me, what happened?" asked Arabel.
Idan immediately shared with her the details of his encounter with those gatekeeper beasts from the Eastern Continent and their situation at the Eastern Gate.
"Oh, so fast?" asked Arabel, who was aware of her husband's desire to find these animals, but did not expect that he would meet them so soon.
"Yes, it happened," Idan replied, himself a little surprised by this combination of circumstances.
He then talked about the deal with the beasts, the System's quest, the new title that awaited them for completing the quest, and how he used the Sphere of Evolution on the beasts. During his story, he also mentioned the idea of a baby dragon asking his parents for help so that they could help Hailey.
Listening to her husband, Arabel opened the list of tasks and found that she also had this task, but it was marked as "not a priority."
"So that's why I didn't get the notification," she realized. When Idan finished sharing the information, Arabel asked:
"Okay, as I understand it, are you going to the Eastern Continent in search of your brother and Adrian, as well as the Six True Fires?"
"Yes, those are my plans," Idan nodded.
"Great, then let me do the collecting." — Arabel was not going to stay away and wanted to take part in this journey. "I'll first ask Master and the others if it's possible to mine them on my own, and then I'll consider buying them through the 'Trade' function."
"Are you sure? Won't that bother you in any way?" — Idan couldn't help but worry.
"No, really. On the contrary, this is exactly what I need," she smiled, taking the initiative and kissing him.
"Don't worry about Hailey, I'll look into it too," Arabel said after a gentle kiss.
"I knew I could rely on you," Idan said with a smile, relieved that Arabel had taken on some of his worries.
"I came to you not only to share all this, but also to ask you to borrow your sword," he said, voicing the main purpose of his visit.
"The Dark Queen Sword?" — Arabel asked, remembering the power of her weapon and quickly realizing Idan's intentions.
"Sure, no problem," she replied, taking off a ring of night sky light decorated with light runes from her finger and handing it to Idan.
"This will be a great opportunity to test how both rings work together," she added, watching as Idan gently kissed her on the lips, carefully took her ring and put it on his right index finger.
As soon as the ring with the name "Vow of Darkness" appeared on Idana's finger, it seemed to have grown to him. At the same moment, a light ring with dark runes shone on his other hand — the "Vow of Light". An invisible connection has emerged between the two rings, the dark and the light, connecting them into a single whole.
"I extracted a symbiotic creature of light from the runes and gave it to Lucinda. Thus, there should be five more free runes left. Use them as you see fit," Arabel said, watching the reaction of their wedding rings.
Idan listened attentively to Arabel's words and, opening the description of the ring, looked at the runes.
--------------------
* Rune 1. "Element of Light" is filled by 50%.
* Rune 2. "Empty".
* Rune 3. "Life energy" is filled by 10%.
* Rune 4. "Empty".
* Rune 5. "Empty".
* Rune 6. "Empty."
* Rune 7. "Empty".
--------------------
Just as Arabel had said, five of the seven runes were empty, and two of them had not yet been fully formed and filled to be used.
After Idan carefully studied the runes of the "Dark Queen Sword", he decided to check the runes on the "Light King Sword".
--------------------
* Rune 1. "White Flame" (enhancement).
* Rune 2. "Holy Water" (purification).
* Rune 3. "Transparent Darkness" (divination).
* Rune 4. "Healing Light" (healing).
* Rune 5. "Stone of Fortitude" (protection).
* Rune 6. "Empty".
* Rune 7. "Empty".
--------------------
Here, five runes were filled in, and two were empty.
"Great!"
Idan was very pleased.
"If I can't master the True Fires quickly, your sword will at least allow me to extract their power and seal it in crystals."
Arabel was happy that she could be useful, even being imprisoned while waiting for the birth of their baby.
"Take care of yourself," Arabel gently kissed him goodbye. "And don't forget to take Prina with you."
"Of course," Idan replied with a smile, watching Arabel return to the time room. Only then did he leave Essora's house.
It was time for him to return to the Eastern Continent.
