Reincarnated As A Lion In Another World

Chapter 917: Seth Avoids The War

Chapter 917: Seth Avoids The War

The Main Universe. The Outer Hole Galaxy or what was left of it was here.

The stars were mostly gone, leaving a few yellow ones here and there that illuminated the space.

It was a strange sight for a galaxy of such immense size, with numerous planets, to have barely a million stars in total.

This galaxy once thrived with life when the Feline Assembly was here.

Back then, before the call to war, different feline races had populated the stars.

It was a very brief historical period, one that would be remembered as long as someone was there to remember it.

Tigers, Jaguars, Leopards, Cheetahs, Panthers, Lynxes, Cougars, and many more.

They had lived in harmony.

At one section of the Outer Hole Galaxy was a lone yellow star, one of the many that was still left after the other stars mysteriously left.

There was a large gas planet here that orbited the yellow star silently.

This gas planet had forty-three moons and out of these large moons the size of small planets, there was one that stood out for being unique.

It was a desert biome moon, barren but with the right atmosphere to harbor carbon-based life.

Strolling through the sandy surface of the desert moon, Seth had his arms behind his back as a gentle breeze blew his robe to the back and his hair fluttered beautifully.

From his point of view, without any enhanced eyesight or something similar, it was like he was standing on the surface of a very flat world.

Such was the change of perspective that people like him constantly experienced.

Seth took a deep breath, shifting his weight from left to right as he took one step after the other. His glowing white eyes casually glanced at the area in front of him, as though he was waiting for someone.

With his power level, he was used to treating planets and celestial spheroids as though they were minor objects that he could crush easily.

From his elevated status, they were always looking like distant spheres.

But to the mortals who had to rely on such primitive rocks to sustain their fragile lives, these celestial spheroids were their lives.

Seth took his time to appreciate this mundane view of the world because he wasn’t sure if he would have the opportunity to experience it again very soon.

Thinking about the dealings he had to settle, Seth couldn’t help but see himself walking straight into the hands of his enemies in hopes of stealing food from their mouths.

It was a very dangerous thing, one that would benefit him greatly if he succeeded and if he didn’t, he would likely die.

*BUZZ!*

His mind was constantly being bombarded by the telepathic calls of his so-called allies.

They wanted him to fight for them. They wanted him to tear a path to the enemy’s home.

"Stupid," Seth muttered without an atom of mockery in his tone. That was just the truth.

What exactly were they planning to do if he helped them pass through the heavenly barrier to enter that cancerous universe?

What did they think they would do? Fight harder? Kill better? Shout louder?

They would die.

That’s what they would do.

The All-King has been sending clones out all these while and many have already started thinking he was afraid of what the Highest Will would do if he came out with his real body.

Perhaps that was true.

But they also tended to forget that the All-King was a Singularity with hundreds of Primordials under his thumb.

Besides that, he was the master of Leonine Heaven. He was also the anchor of a whole little universe.

Barging into the Alphaverse, Seth and his allies would have to face the combined concentrated might of so many vassals, so many Primordials, and an unknown number of clones.

And that was all that they knew for now.

Many things about the true power of the lion race and the All-King were unknown to the masses.

Seth had clashed with the All-King two times. Both times felt like he was interacting with an immovable mountain.

An uncompromising, stubborn, deeply paranoid, extremely aggressive, and dangerously intelligent being.

Seth sighed again.

"How long have you been here?" Seth asked all of a sudden without shifting his gaze.

He stopped walking, still keeping his arms behind his back.

Slowly, he shifted his gaze to the sandy ground in front of him.

The radiance of the yellow sun was still able to reach this forgotten world and his afternoon shadow could be seen clearly.

However, Seth could see two shadows on the ground instead of one.

One belonged to him. Slim, moderately tall, and elegant, like a royal cat.

The second shadow looked like it belonged to an absurdly majestic individual with wide shoulders and a powerful physique.

The All-King.

Indeed, the blonde-haired All-King stood beside Seth at this time and was also looking around, observing the world he had come to.

While Kael spread his senses out, he took notice of how easy it was for the Primordial Cat to detect him even before he arrived.

He wondered if it was because Seth had gotten stronger or if it was because the internal energy of this particular clone was currently unstable.

"Congratulations, you just beat Emperor Zain’s record," Kael said casually as he stepped forward.

His boot crunched the sand under him and his own presence bore little supernatural effort to his surroundings.

"Hmm, I barely caught up to Noel," Seth said casually as he turned around to look at the All-King.

He ended up having to raise his head slightly so that he could look at the latter’s face.

"No, that’s wrong," Kael shook his head and also put his hands behind his back, matching Seth’s elegant pose.

Except, he looked like a tyrant pretending to be a gentleman while Seth had the aura of a gentleman trying to be a warrior.

Either way, for the purpose of today, they were two gentlemen.

"Noel, bless his lost soul, managed to reach the Supreme Immortal level within one million years.

You on the other hand might actually achieve the same thing in half the time.

Much younger than Emperor Zain but already at the same level," Kael said with a harmless smile on his face.

Seth stared at Kael blankly, not knowing whether this was a mockery or an acknowledgement of strength.

Sure, he had managed to evolve to the High Level Immortal Tier, it was something worth talking about.

But not even his father knew about this. The first person to know was Kael.

And the All-King didn’t know this.

For Seth, being compared to legends like Noel was a dream. But to be told that he was better was surreal.

Not just by anyone, but by the successor.

However, it could also be a mockery because Kael did not put such talent in his eyes.

Kael himself was already Mid Level Immortal after barely one hundred years.

Compared to him, Seth’s evolution speed was okay at best.

This didn’t mean that Seth wasn’t a top-notch talent that would shock many supremes. It was just that he was comparing himself to a monster amongst monsters.

"I half expected you to send some clones to the battlefield. Maybe keep everyone busy and deceived..." Kael said.

Seth shook his head, "No need to ask. I’m just reserving my strength.

We are about to do something crazy and I would like to be at my peak.

I don’t have the energy to maintain people’s opinions about me at the moment," Seth replied.

Actually, he had no clones in Draconic Heaven, because he knew that it would be pointless.

He could only focus on his own and leave everyone to their own thing.

"Did you bring it?" Seth asked.

Hearing this, Kael’s smile faded and he waved his hand. Summoned out of thin air was the Primordial Rat in his humanoid form.

Louis stood shorter than the two and seemed a little bit surprised to be where he was at the moment.

"I brought him," Kael said, "As agreed, you work for me and do exactly as I say and you can have him."

Seth frowned, "That wasn’t the deal, you were specific..."

"Do you want to be a Singularity or not?" Kael asked.

Without becoming a Singularity, Seth could not realize his dreams.

"Besides, if you don’t help me, there will be no need for the Primordial Rat in the first place.

The Highest Will would just end up killing us all," Kael added.

Seth frowned harder, "Fine," He said.

He had come so far. The deal with the devil had already begun, he might as well play the game...for now.

Hearing this, Kael smiled and waved his hand, sending the Primordial Rat away without him having the power to do anything.

Seth looked up, watching the lonely stars that remained. He remembered when countless advanced cities dotted the surface of these moons and planets.

War was such an unclean thing.

"When do we leave?" Seth asked.

"Right now," Kael suddenly snapped his fingers, and the world was flipped over.
