Chapter 58: Titanomachy 6: A Year Later

Lucifer stood at the top of the mountain as he overlooked the entire battlefield from there.

It has been over a year now since the Titanomachy began and things has been going as plans except the Titans have become a little wiser.

Since the capture of Iapetus by the hands of Prometheus and Epimetheus, they have not appeared on the battlefield, only their to supervise and never take part in the battles.

Now today, there is an ongoing clash between the Titan armies and the Daemons as both sides refused to take part for a long time as the gather their strength.

"Sigh, this is getting a little brother" said Lucifer who snapped his fingers and the Titan Armies were all obliterated, he turned to go back to his palace as there was nothing for him to watch anymore.

He wanted a battle not a skirmish between them, he wanted to see Titans go head to head with the Olympians but it seems the Titans are cowards who just waits for the right moment to strike.

On the other sided of the Battlefield, Oceanus did not show any sign of shock nor surprise when his Army was completely wiped out as this was not the first neither the second or the third and ilhe was getting sick of it instead.

"We should head back now, we are done scarifying our men today, we should go prepare the other one" said Oceanus to the two bastard sons of Iapetus, Atlas and Menoetius as he made his way back to the Camp.

"Why are we not taking the fight to them, we have always been the one to suffer loses while they gather their strength, increase in numbers as ours decrease, is it when we are clearly outnumbered and weaken, that’s when we are going to fight back?" said Menoetius as he walked beside Oceanus.

"Listen to me boy, I don’t have the time or luxury to answer your question, so you come with me quietly or I make you" said Oceanus clearly angered by the question.

"I know that, that’s why we have a trump card that they would not be expecting if they did that" said Metis while smiling when thinking about what she prepared in store "what do you think I have doing this past year?

I have gone to every Realm Lucifer stepped on or had influence in and requested their assistant in case something like this happened and they were willing to help, well not all of them at first but with a little convincing, they all obliged"

The past year, Metis consulted the help of Aphrodite to assist her in getting help from Lucifer and all she said was to go to the Realms Lucifer has been to or has a connection to or one who is indebted to him like the Hindu Realm and asked them for help saying it was for the Devil and they will help her and so she did and it turned out well.

Zeus laughed when he heard how she meticulously planned all of that without them even knowing while patting her on the head which made her blush without control.

Everyone Present looked at them strangely especially Metis who rarely show any expression on her face.

"Ahem"

Zeus stopped patting her head as he realized what he was doing and where he was while Metis embarrassed, his her face with her cloth.

"Now that that is sorted, can we leave now, I have something to take care off, dead souls to take to Tartarus" said Hades as he has not gotten a keeper or a guide to take the souls of the dead and damned to Tartarus which is no longer a prison for the living but a place for only the dead.

Cough~Cough, Metis coughed before taking the clothe of her face "sure, you can go, we are done here" she said as she immediately stood up and left..

"What a lovestruck fool" said a jealous Hela.

And with that, they all dispersed and went to their various palace.
