Chapter 43: Planning To Break Into Tartarus

It has been a week now since Rhea, her sisters, her niece and nephews and her children arrived at Mt. Olympus and during the course of that week, Rhea and her children have bonded and she gets to name them.

She named her eldest daughter and firstborn, Hestia, her second born, Hades, the third, Demeter, the fourth, Hera and the fifth, Poseidon.

The six siblings also became closer with Zeus telling them about his early life and how it was his mission to usurp their father, Chronos to which they all agreed.

Now today, the three boys of Rhea, Zeus, Hades and Poseidon are about to venture into Tartarus, the domain of the Thanatos and two Primordial gods, Nyx and Erebus to rescue the Hekatonkheires and the Cyclopes and in the process, send a message to Chronos.

"You have to know that Tartarus is under the watchful eyes of Thanatos and the Primal gods, Nyx and Erebus.

Now the Primal gods won’t interfere even of you kill their son but I will advice you against that, you don’t want to go down that route, so you must make sure you have the upper hand against Thanatos by using the element of surprise and take him out of the equation, for example, immobilize him, then the rest will be easy for you all" Metis, the master strategists of the Olympians said as she laid out her plans to the brothers who are venturing into a very dangerous place.

"Wait, so you are saying that they can’t get rid of that Thanatos guy in fear of his parents but the guy can kill them?" said Amiel who looked at Metis who nodded at her to answer her question "that’s bullshit, I say if he tries to kill you, fight back with the intent to also kill, what’s the worse that can happen?"

Amiel didn’t like the idea of not killing someone who would try to kill them as an ideal plan, she did not care of any consequence whatsoever.

Rhea sighed when Amiel said that, they were not from here that’s why she was saying that, so she decided to explain the situation to Amiel "while Erebus and Nyx won’t do anything even if their son was killed because they will deem him as weak especially Erebus but that’s not the same for Nyx, she would use that as an excuse to keep one of them back at Tartarus, to rule in the steed of her son and there is no way any of them are going to reject her offer as that meant death.

She does not take no for an answer because she won’t leave Tartarus without a ruler" she said to Amiel who still didn’t get why they should not kill Thanatos, so if it is someone who could replace him then let them replace him.

"You still don’t get it.

Many believed that our father, Ouranos was the one who made Tartarus but the truth is, Tartarus is not just a prison but the first and most precious child of Nyx, Tartarus is more than a prison, even Thanatos does not know that because Nyx would not let him know and the only way we know all these was because our mother told us when she came to us to help her, Tartarus is a place for damned souls, a place for the dead.

"We can work with that, I can even hold off Thanatos on my own while the rest of you can free the Hekatonkheires and the Cyclopes" Hades said bringing the others attention back to their meeting.

"Okay, I will also go with them" said Amiel getting a side eye from Coriel "what? Didn’t you hear that they have two Primordial gods residing there and you want to face off against one of them and obviously the other one would not just sit by and let you do whatever you like which would put the odds against you, so I’m coming to even that odd"

Amiel said gaining approval from the others but Coriel shook her head "you can’t and I believe I can handle two children" Coriel said shocking everybody.

A Primordial god is a child in front her, then what are they, ants. Even Lucifer was not like this making them believe that Coriel might be stronger than Lucifer.

Amiel just stood up and walked out of the gathering not because she was angry but because she knew that she can never change Coriel’s mind, so why waste her time when she could use it for something else.

Zeus looked at the back of Amiel as she was walking away, his eyes filled with lust and he dreamed of having her as his own but he was quickly brought out of his dreamscape by Hera who tapped him on his shoulder while glaring at him for spacing out when they were in an important meeting.

Coriel saw all these and sighed "you should not have any foolish thought about her, given your nature, you would die if you ever make any advances on her" said Coriel to Zeus trying to save him from digging his own grave.

Everyone knows that Amiel is an envious person and would never share what’s hers with someone else talk more of a man she is in a relationship with who still has other women, that was something she would not only so instead of letting him make his advances and eventually have Amiel fall for him while he is still chasing other women iring the wrath of Amiel, she should just stop him right now.

Hearing what Coriel just said, everyone’s attention were drawn to Zeus who just smiled awkwardly from embarrassment.

Rhea even went as far as smacking him on his head as she has warned him time without numbers to control himself especially in the presence of the Archangels but he did not listen and now one of them knew that he was checking out the other one.

Rhea apologized for his behavior and promised to talk some sense into her some.

Coriel waved her hands "that’s not necessary, what is very important now is for your sons to get ready, we have a prison to break" she said as she stood up and left to also get prepared.
