Chapter 42: Rhea Tells The Archangels

"I’m sorry, I didn’t know that you were the one there and I lash at at you without even thinking, please forgive me"

"It’s okay, I would have done the same if I were in your shoe, so you can get up now. All I want to know is where is my brother?" Said Coriel to Epimetheus who yell at her recently after seeing her in the off limit area imposed on them by Amiel.

Fearing to face the wrath of Amiel this soon, just after stepping on the mountain, he did not even think twice and just yell at her.

His shouting alerted the others including Amiel who immediately appeared besides her sister and wondered what she was even doing outside given how much she loves her sleep over anything else.

After figuring who she was, Themis immediately had her son go down on his knees and beg Coriel to forgive him for the disrespect.

That was what led to the current side now.

"Lucifer is not in the Realm currently and we don’t know where he is but I might be able to get you someone who my know something" said Rhea while thinking about a little kid who came to Crete a few months back and calling the name of Lucifer and fruit which Adamantheia surprisingly understood.

After the kid was given the fruit, she immediately transformed into a giant flaming bird known as the Phoenix after getting a bite of the fruit.

When she transformed back into a human, she no longer had the appearance of a little kid anymore but that of mature busty woman in a late twenties and radiating with hotness.

She could even speak more properly after her transformation and introduced herself to be Feng Huang, a celestial pet of the Devil, Lucifer Morningstar but disclose nothing of his location.

She even went as far as guarding the tree which Lucifer made Adamantheia planted saying that this is also her master’s and she does not trust anyone other than herself to protect it as even she herself only said two words and they let her have a fruit from the tree, so imagine she was someone else and was not associated with Lucifer, they would have just given someone else such power.

Rhea had a bitter smile when remembering that day as she has never seen Adamantheia so angry like that day.

Coriel shook her head "forget it, if it requires anything like leaving this mountain, then I will just have to wait until he comes himself" said Coriel as she was too lazy to be going anywhere and would very much just stay on the island rather.

This made Coriel slap her forehead and sighed "you should let them answer one question before throwing the other one, sister" she told Amiel who just looked at her as if she did not know what she just did.

Coriel sighed once again when looking at her sister’s oblivious act before she turned to Rhea "so what my sister is trying to say right now is, what happened to you to make to flee here"

Since Amiel would not admit what she did, she decided to take matters into her hands and and became the questionnaire.

Feeling the gaze directed at her, Rhea knew that she was the one being asked, so she straightened herself and cleared her throat "it all started after my husband, Chronos and some of my brothers joined hands together to take down my father, Ouranos on the behest of my mother for having her children cast to Tartarus just because of their deformity.

With the help of my mother, Gaia, Chronos and my brothers were able to take down my father but my father believed Chronos to be the perpetrator of the whole rebellion against him, so my father with his dying breath cursed Chronos to also have the same fate such as him, making Chronos paranoid and had to swallow all his children everything I bore one"

When Amiel and Coriel heard that, they frowned as what that Chronos guy did was too extreme, how can a father even have the heart to swallow his own children just because of some stupid curse of a dying man.

Even their Father did not kill or destroy them when they rebelled and only threw then to Hell and from what they have known about their father from the many years with him, might have even know that they were going to rebel against him even before he created them, yet he still went ahead and made them because he knew that he is going to come out on top as his authority can never be shaken not by the likes of them.

And here someone who was so strong and has an aspect of the cosmos as his divinity still was foolish enough to not to know how powerful he was to be threatened by his children but because of his greed, his judgement became clouded and the only thing he could think of was just to get rid of his own blood so that they cannot pose any threat to him or his throne.

After that, They went back to listening to the story of Rhea while thinking of ways to make Chronos suffer and wondered what would have happened if their Father was like this Chronos.

"After the fifth child, I could not let him have his way anymore so with the help of my mother, friend and Lucifer, we his my sixth child, Zeus here in the island and was trained there so that one day he may be strong enough to face his father, the same thing he so dreaded to even get rid of his own bloods.

With meticulous planning, Zeus with the help of Metis and Mnemosyne finally got closed to Chronos and fed him the wine laced with Emetic provided by my mother, Gaia which caused him to vomit all of his swallowed siblings" said Rhea finalizing her story while looking at her six children with smiles on her face.

Coriel felt bad for Rhea as she can never imagine a mother without their child for even a day and yet this woman before her had to be separated from her children immediately they were born just because of an insecure man..

The air around them grew chilly as Coriel couldn’t hold her anger anymore "I will make sure you have our full support when the war begins, a man like that should not even be allowed to see the next day" Coriel said surprising everyone seated and the one even more surprised was Amiel as all she could only think of right now was if her sister was possessed.
