Chapter 40: Mt. Olympus

"We are here"

In front of the group was a large tall mountain that had overbearing and imposing aura, a place fit for a king.

Metis brought the rebels which include her, Themis and her two sons, Prometheus and Epimetheus, Rhea, Mnemosyne, Zeus and his siblings.

This was the mountain she saw in one of her visions, a temporary base of operation and after the war, a new home for the Olympians, the Mt. Olympus.

Without wasting anymore time, Metis led them to the mountain.

At the peak of the mountain, stood a woman with a celestial appearance watching the new intruders that were trying to come to her mountain where she needed to rest.

"Now who are this bunch of wastrels again? I thought I got rid of the last badge but I guess I was wrong. But from the looks of things, this wastrels are better than the last ones, maybe they might be able to give me entertained for a while before getting rid of them completely"

The woman said while she raised her hands to the sky making to go dark.

The woman’s shadow started getting larger and larger, covering over a big distance. From her shadows, demon like creatures of different species came out.

"Why don’t you go greet our new guests? My little pets"

The woman gave out the command which made the demon like creatures roar as they charge to the base of the mountain.

"This better be fun"

The woman laugh so loudly that he sounded throughout the Island.

"oops, I hope she does not wake up"

The woman said before running away from there with her hands on her mouth.

When Themis and Rhea heard her, that’s when they recalled an event many years ago where Lord Shiva visited their Realm and had an altercation with their father, that’s when he let loose these demons annoying their father greatly.

It has been many years that they have even forgotten about it but Mnemosyne still remembers which is a testament to her perfect memory.

"This is not go, we have to get mother here, there is no way we can be able to face a Primal god on our own, talk less of someone like Lord Shiva" Themis said.

Rhea nodded as she closed her eyes and felt the wind around her, the earth beneath her, the waves singing in the seas and every living creatures living in the Realm as she tried to connect to her mother, the goddess of Earth, Nature and the Primal goddess of the Realm.

This is the advantage someone who has the Mother Gaia as their birth mother, you can always contact anywhere you are no matter the distance between you two as she is the air you breath, the earth you walk on, the water you drink and the fire that keeps you warm. She is ever presence.

It didn’t take long for Rhea to call out to her mother who immediately responded "she is on her way, but she says we should continue our journey as there is no way Lord Shiva will attack us as that would be demeaning himself and as for his demons, they are just small fries, we can handle" Rhea said as she looked at the peak of the mountain before looking at her family and allies.

They all nodded their heads before making their way up the mountain while looking around them for sneak attacks which reduced their speed to the peak as they have to watch their backs and not in an haste to face Lord Shiva.

At the Peak of the Mountain

The woman saw how her new guests managed to defeat her pets she sent their way and nodded as she can be entertained for a few days before they are out of stamina.

"Sigh, when will she wake up, I am getting bored here, I bet those bastards are out there having fun whilst I am here making sure her lazy ass sleeps uninterrupted. Sigh, I don’t blame her, I was the one who asked for her help anyway and now I have to face the consequence but why can’t she just go back to hell, nobody will disturb her there"

The woman complained bitterly but she can’t do anything right now and just resign to her fate.

But she had new toys, I mean guests to play with and get rid of her boredom.

The woman watched Zeus and his companions fight their way through her pets as she calls them so easily to the point that she felt so bored and wanted to release her stronger pets but she restrained herself as that would create so noise that would disturb her sister and she is not ready to face an angry Coriel.

"Maybe I should go myself. No, that would be demeaning of me and Lucifer would call it bullying the weak which I hate so much.

But from another angle, I am just trying to have some fun and not picking up a fight with them, just stretching my old bones and maybe copy most of their powers for myself" the woman said but before she could go to see her guests, she felt an even more powerful individual coming her way "interesting, forget it, I am just going to face off this newcomer and it won’t be called bullying as she is also strong like that guy from before"
