Chapter 118: Oceanus Is Furious

"What Did You Say?"

The voice of a man thundered across the deepest part of the ocean making everyone around him shriek back in fear.@@@@

"Mother Earth delivered a message for you and it says ’Metis is Dead’" said the messenger while shaking.

When the man heard this again, he was angered greatly and everyone could clearly see it on his face.

Out of the six thousand children he has, he was more proud of Metis more than anyone due to her accomplishments and now he was being told that his daughter is dead.

That’s impossible!!!

What could possibly kill her??

One had to know who she is.

She is Metis, born with the ability to peer into the future, a strategist that could see her enemies make a move and prepare measures against it even before they think of messing with her, so it will be hard for someone to kill her.

There was no other thing that was there for Oceanus to think of that could possibly get his daughter killed.

"Cephissus, go to Olympus and figure out what possibly got your sister killed" said Oceanus to one of his sons.

"Yes father"

A man with an almost identical appearance to Oceanus replied.

Gods and Cultivators alike shared their opinion on the matter regarding the death of Metis.

Among this crowd of people was Cephissus, who was on a mission from his father to figure out how his sister died.

He frowned when he heard some of the theories of the people and clenched his fists tightly as he stared at Mt. Olympus in the distance.

"If you have anything to do with the death of my sister, I will make sure you suffer a fate worse than death"

He said as he continued on his journey.

Mt. Olympus

"This is not turning out good for you lady Hera" said servant to Hera who was getting dressed.

"I don’t care what people think, they could say whatever they want, I don’t give a damn about it all I care about is I am going to be the new Queen of the gods" said Hera with all smiles.

"You are right, my lady but we can’t just let the rumor continue, you might even make an enemy out of Oceanus" said the servant.

Hera frowned as she has not thought that far ahead "you are right, Oceanus just lost his favorite daughter and an unborn grand child, he must be very pissed right now and likely to believe anything that he hears and the most likely rumour going around is ’It might be the goddess Hera who killed Metis out of jealousy and to take her position’ and he is going t believe that as truly I was indeed jealous of her but I have no hands in her death but he won’t believe that, I can’t have that, not now" Hera said as she walked back and forth in the room disrupting the servant on getting her all dressed up.

"I have to do something about it" Hera said and stopped and looked at the servant "I want you to quickly investigate what really happened to Metis, who visited her last and who has every motive to kill her"

The servant raised a brow as she looked at Hera "you are the only one with the motive to kill her" she said.

"Oh" Hera widened her eyes as she realized what the servant said was true but she believed she can’t be the only one "we don’t know that yet and also while you are at it, get Ares to stop anyone especially those sent by Oceanus from getting as much as six feet close to them and if they decide to be stubborn, he should use force on them"

"Yes goddess Hera" the servant said and turned around and left.

As soon as she left, Hera’s demeanor changed as she looked outside her room in the direction of Zeus’s palace "you were the last one to visit Metis and that twice in one day, the first one you said you sensed the presence of someone on the mountain and your second visit was after you met with the Sisters and that was your last visit to Metis, looking at all of these, it could be said that you are the real culprit behind the death of Metis, now the question is why did you kill your most beloved wife, Zeus?"
