Chapter 1058: May The Rivers Of Destiny Carry You [Part 1]
Five days had passed since the Allied Forces returned from their battle at the Realm of Arkanthos.
The Elves, Beastkins, and Dwarves were already back in their territories.
As for the representatives of the Humans, they remained in the Firbolg Fortress for two more days to iron out the alliance agreement between the Sylvan Clan and the Kingdom of Eastshire.
When their talks were done, the Firbolg agreed to send an envoy to meet with the King of Eastshire to formalize their alliance.
The Humans left after that since they still had many things to do, especially Professor Rinehart, Professor Barret, and Edmond, all of whom held important roles in Eastshire.
Lady Arawina, who had just finished her morning meditation, slowly opened her eyes and looked toward the North.
"They're back,' Lady Arawina thought as she hurriedly went to the Stone Stele, which was connected to the Realm of Janvidr.
When she arrived, she saw Ethan and Chloe talking with the Firbolg Guards who had been stationed beside the Stone Stele.
"Welcome back," Lady Arawina greeted with a smile. "It seems that a lot of things happened while the two of you remained in the Realm of Arkanthos."
The Great Shaman stared at Chloe for a few seconds before shifting her gaze to Ethan, who was emitting a subtle aura of power that hadn't been there when she first met him.
"Indeed, Lady Arawina," Ethan replied.
"Can you disclose what happened after we left?" Lady Arawina asked.
Ethan nodded and explained that he had gained full authority over the Realm of Arkanthos.
The young man also assured that the Gargoyles who chose to stay would no longer threaten the peace of The Realm of Janvidr and the Sylvan Realm.
"That's good to know." Lady Arawina smiled. "Will the two of you leave right away and return to Brynhildr Academy?"
Ethan and Chloe slept inside the guest room in Lady Arawina's home.
The two were tired, not because of the celebration party, but because they made sure to use
their time together to the fullest back in the Realm of Arkanthos.
Just like the raging river that had been freed from a dam, their feelings for each other overflowed, and they spent the majority of their time in each other's embrace.
Also, in order to prevent Zorathul from reclaiming the Realm of Arkanthos, Ethan had merged
it with his Celestial Domain.
Now, the Gargoyles lived alongside the Fairies, and the Celestial Realm became even bigger than before.
Currently, Ethan was a walking one-man army who could summon countless Fairies and Gargoyles to fight for him if he wished for it.
This gave him the confidence to face the future invasions that would descend upon their world.
When the sun rose from the East, Ethan and Chloe left their room and had breakfast with Lady Arawina one last time. With a farewell, they prepared to leave with the envoy that would depart for the Capital City of Wisteria in Eastshire.
"Both of you are forever friends of the Sylvan Clan," Lady Arawina said. "Our destinies are now tied together, so I hope you will look after my people favorably in the future." Ethan nodded. "If ever the Sylvan Clan needs my help in the future, just send me a word, and I'll see what I can do. We all need to help each other during this difficult time."
Lady Arawina then shifted her attention to Chloe and spoke fondly.
"The blood of the Firbolgs flows in your veins," Lady Arawina said. "I hope you and Ethan will continue our lineage. Feel free to have as many children as possible. I will become their Godmother and take care of them for you."
A blush appeared on Chloe's face, making her look more alluring in Ethan's eyes. However, the two of them had already talked about how many children they would have while it was just the two of them, so this matter had already been solved.
If not for the fact that she was still a student in the academy, as well as worried about the upcoming invasion, she would have used that opportunity to conceive his second child.
But she had to look at the bigger picture.
For now, she would wait until the right time came, so her child could live in a peaceful world where monsters from beyond the horizon would no longer appear and threaten their lives.
