Chapter 125: The Collector's Pins Are Always Strange

Chapter 125: The Collector's Pins Are Always Strange

For the next week, Luo Ning barely rested. He was quite used to this lifestyle, so surprisingly he didn't find it too hard. On the contrary, he became more and more energetic as he worked.

All the hard work paid off, and the new management system of Caron II was fully operational.

Whether in the smelting plant or the Nest City mine, when the workers heard about the new welfare rules set by Ronin, everyone thought they were dreaming.

It wasn't until they saw the old nobles who had once ridden over them all nodding in approval that these people, who had been slaves their whole lives, finally dared to believe that it was all true.

The change in welfare benefits for hundreds of millions of workers has also brought enormous financial pressure.

While all the nobles were watching how Ronin would respond, Milley's caravan arrived at Karon II like a timely rain.

Luo Ning's network of connections played a crucial role at this moment.

The Viscount Walker's vast fortune after his house was confiscated was not something Ronin cared about at all; he used it all as bargaining chips in a deal.

The group arrived at Viscount Walker's house, and after a thorough scan by many people, they quickly located the private vault deep in the basement.

The vault was built to be extremely sturdy, with walls made of a single, two-meter-thick cast alloy that was seamless and impossible to drill into. The only door was locked with the highest level of encryption.

The security system is extremely complex. If any step goes wrong, the entire vault will be locked. If it is forcibly broken, the room at the entrance will become a huge incinerator, burning the intruder to ashes.

Unfortunately, against tens of thousands of Americans, this level of encryption system, while requiring some time to process, is not foolproof.

While he was cracking the code, Ronin and Millein strolled around Viscount Walker's enormous estate, which was so luxurious that even the wealthy Millein couldn't help but marvel at its extravagance.

In the end, the two even discovered a room full of various torture instruments and strange potions. Looking at the labels on the medicine bottles, Luo Ning couldn't help but smile wickedly at Milain.

Taking advantage of her momentary lapse in attention, they locked Milley's hands and tied them to the wooden horse.

Milley grinned mischievously at Ronin: "Lord Ronin, you actually have this kind of hobby?"

Clearly, she didn't resist it; in fact, she didn't care.

But when Luo Ning applied bottle after bottle of liquid to her body, even Milley immediately sensed that something was terribly wrong.

In the following hours, Millein's memories became fragmented and incomplete.

All she could remember was that, under the influence of the drugs, her senses were amplified dramatically, and she repeatedly lost consciousness amidst endless pain and pleasure. But Luo Ning seemed to have no intention of stopping, driving her wild with desire.

When Millein regained consciousness, he found himself lying in Ronin's arms.

Even someone as experienced as her couldn't help but marvel at Luo Ning's charm; he truly had the ability to make her fall head over heels for him.

"Lord Luo Ning, you really don't know how to cherish a lady." She forced a smile and looked at Luo Ning.

Luo Ning simply patted her head. "Judging from your expression, you're clearly enjoying it. Has the drug worn off yet?"

With a gentle squeeze from Luo Ning, accompanied by an uncontrollable moan from Milan, the answer was self-evident.

But he said with a wicked grin, "Looks like you're all bark and no bite."

Milain rolled her eyes at him and was about to dodge when Ronin pulled her back into his arms.

"Dominion has sent word that the vault has been opened, and the wealth inside is said to be beyond imagination. Shall we go take a look?" Ronin said with a smile.

Milan's eyes immediately lit up; with a businesswoman's intuition, she instantly sensed the scent of profit.

The two quickly returned to the basement, and upon seeing the mountains of gold, lithium ingots, and rare ores inside, they couldn't help but gasp.

"Luoning, you've struck it rich this time." Milley said as he walked and looked around, his tone full of envy.

But Luo Ning hugged her from behind. Milain, whose drug effects hadn't worn off, couldn't help but let out a soft sigh, only to hear Luo Ning whisper, "No, darling, it's you who's going to make it big."

As Luo Ning moved, Milain's body trembled uncontrollably. She ran out of Luo Ning's arms as if fleeing, frowning as she looked at him.

"From now on, stay away from me. You've gotten my pants wet again. How am I supposed to explain this to my subordinates? Your weird potions are truly terrifying."

Luo Ning smiled at her, shrugged, and said innocently, "You can't blame me for this. They're all from that old man Walker's collection."

Milley glared at him and asked seriously, "Let's get down to business. What do you plan to do with these treasures?"

"They're all yours," Luo Ning said without hesitation, his tone resolute. "But in return, send me a massive amount of food and fresh water, the more the better."

Milley raised an eyebrow and smiled, instantly understanding: "You've implemented your theory on this planet again? How was the result?"

"The results are not bad. It's just a pity that this planet is even more lacking in food and clothing than Vatos VII. I can transport light industrial goods from Vatos VII myself, but as for food, it's not a problem that can be solved overnight if I want to establish a farm here."

To be honest, Victor is currently busy repairing the mechs, and his mechanical priests are all working to disinfect the green spores. He simply doesn't have the manpower to do agriculture.

The only mechanical priest left to help him was Dominic Michonne. After working continuously for so long, the extermination of the planet's green spores was in full swing, and he couldn't disturb Victor's men's work.

Milley nodded, quickly calculating in his mind that this deal would be quite lucrative.

"Such a large quantity of food probably cannot be gathered in a short period of time..."

"No rush, just send it in batches. Just send me a batch of relief food within the next week," Luo Ning added.

Milley nodded.

"Also, my three little beauties have been with you for a while now. Leave them to me; I need them here," Luo Ning said.

Milley looked at him, clearly reluctant to part with him. "What's wrong? Let those little darlings keep me company a little longer. They learn things very quickly."

"That's why I need them even more. On this planet, I need reliable people," Ronin replied.

There were still nineteen slaves in his governor's mansion who had not been assigned a place.

Now that Luo Ning has finally finished his work, it's time to make use of them.
