It's me, Cyncoco!

I wanted to clarify about the Ten Thousand Convergence Art today.

So, everyone has a main cultivation method that they use to grow their cultivation, and that cultivation method has a specific qi that it cultivates (lmao).

In the case of Mount Hua, their qi cultivation methods, at their core, cultivate the Plum Blossom Qi.

Anything related to that Plum Blossom Qi is fair game to a Mount Hua Disciple. You can learn anything that has that qi as its root, which is how the Sect Master lineage can also learn the Violet Haze Divine Art (which also holds the Plum Blossom Qi as its base qi, as the Violet Haze Qi is just the perfected form of the Plum Blossom Qi).

However, anything not related to the Plum Blossom Qi will cause conflict with your qi reserves and be impossible to learn—unless you have the Ten Thousand Convergence Art.

Now, I've had a few comments asking how ZXC reached perfection in the Violet Haze Divine Art and yet can only reach the Fifth Stage - it's because ZXC's main cultivation method is the Violet Haze Divine Art.

With the Ten Thousand Convergence Art, one can cultivate other methods alongside one's main cultivation method—it's just that everything not part of the main cultivation method cannot be mastered.

It doesn't mean he can't master his base cultivation method. If that were the case, this wouldn't be a Divine Art; it would be trash. How could you become a Harmony Realm Master if you can't progress beyond a middling mastery of your base cultivation method?
