Chapter 385: The Beast Army is Here!

"That bastard! Who does he think he is?!" The huge golden lion cursed as it transformed into human form. Now, it looked like a middle-aged man with long golden hair.

The elephant savage beast and the whale savage beast also transformed into their human forms. The former became a muscular old man, while the latter turned into a beautiful lady with blue hair.

"Stop whining like a kid. If you want to complain, then go and find Kazak." The muscular old man muttered.

The blue-haired woman laughed upon hearing this. "Stop teasing him, Gargan."

The golden-haired middle-aged man snorted. "Once I step into the peak of Nascent Soul, I'll challenge that arrogant bastard!"

"We should be able to get something from this battle. I heard that Kazak is working with two human leaders to destroy the city. Together with our beast army, how could those pitiful creatures stop us?" The muscular old man muttered in disdain.

"Even if we find something of value, how can you guys be sure that Kazak won't take them from us?" The blue-haired woman chuckled.

Hearing this, the expression of the muscular old man turned dark. This was indeed possible. Kazak was a greedy and insatiable beast. Even if they joined hands to deal with him, they might not be able to overpower him.

Hearing this the muscular old man named Gargan and the blue-haired woman nodded in agreement.

"Dan, why did you summon us here urgently? You have to make sure that this isn't anything useless. Our armies are still fighting the rebel forces so you should make things quick." Muttered an old man holding a walking stick.

Dan Abaveron nodded at the old man. "I'm naturally aware of everyone's situation so I won't beat around the bush. I invited you guys here because I have a suggestion to make." He paused for a moment to look at everyone's faces. "Now that we have the experts from Northern Trance, we should mobilize our troops to attack the headquarters of the rebel forces!

"They should be here by tomorrow," Kenneth replied.

Everyone's faces eased up upon hearing this. With three more Nascent Soul Espers, they would have a major advantage against the rebel force.

"In that case, we will wait for their arrival. Once they get here, we will launch our final attack on the enemy headquarters!" Dan Abaveron said with a serious voice.

This time, no one voiced any disagreement. Even the patriarch of the Silverton Family didn't say anything.

Just as they were about to adjourn the meeting, a messenger suddenly entered. His expression was grim and his face was covered in sweat. "Leaders, the beast army is on their way to Warmridge! The border guards are requesting for support!"

"What?! How could they move so fast?!"

"Silence, everyone!" Dan shouted. Although he wasn't the strongest man in the room, he was the most senior. Everyone present respected his leadership.

"We can't stay here anymore! We must send an army to slow down the beast army's march!" Dan muttered with a solemn look.

"I know that this is a suicide mission, but if we can't hold back those beasts, Warmridge will be destroyed in a matter of days!"

"Then who should we send to slow them down?"
