Chapter 90: Monkey Head Monster!

Seth with a smile stood under Gawee's Continent pressure that was pressing on him. He wasn't bent to the ground and neither was the air burning his lungs. His skin too was fine.

The Green Hood has done its job!

He took a step forward, and he felt the pressure increase and the further he was from the forest the more pressure weighed on him. Then he kept walking.

When he was 8400 meters away, he felt the connection he had with the forest was reduced and the pressure now was the most intense.

Thankfully, the improvement of his cloak was good enough to keep him moving.

The place was a dead land, as far as he can see. The ground was somehow flat but full of crevices with inner dark inside.

"Aura Sight!"

Seth saw hazy smoke coming out of the crevice and in some crevices there were movements. So, he swerved around any crevice that has too much smoke and also, especially the ones with movement.

As for the ground, it was grey in his Aura sight. The stones, some were black while some were deep brown.

Seth moved forward making sure he avoids anything that seemed dangerous until he can't keep his Aura Sight on.

He had trained with it every time he was in the game but never did it ever stay on for more than 7 minutes at the very least, now, however, it lasted 11 minutes for him before he allowed it to rest.

Seth didn't move forward but bent down and touch a black stone. Immediately his hand began to weaken, he quickly moved his hand away and it came back to normal. He touched the grey sand but nothing happened.

Seth was excited and also afraid.

Three minutes later he activated Aura Sight, and that was when he saw the black stone pulsing with red as if it was alive. Seth grabbed one of the containers and scooped it inside for later observation.

With Activated Aura Sight, he moved forward, the wind was now scorching hot, the sun above was blazing and the further he moved the more the crevices of smoke became thicker in his Aura sight.

Suddenly from a distant place, he noticed a movement, a scorpion tail coming out. Seth bend down and waited.

The tail swerved back and struck forth before the ground was shaken. Seth was less than fifty meters away but he can see clearly as he switches from regular sight and Aura sight.

The seemingly Scorpion dead body was thrown out of the crevice, it had lost the battle.

After looking closely, Seth confirmed it wasn't a scorpion but something like a monkey with rabbit legs and a human hand. The mishmash creature has smooth and transparent skin. One can see its inner body.

Aura sight views a living organism as Red but the body of this creature was grey. Only one part of the body is actually red and that was at the centre where the heart should be.

More minutes passed and Seth felt the need to go back to the Living Roots but his eyes told him the thing was still alive. The next moment, another creature came out from a faraway crevice.

Large cat head, crocodile body and tail of a snake. It forearms like a bear. It smacked its snake tail at the Monkey head creature but it played dead.

The Cat-crocodile-snake body creature moved fast and bit off the monkey's head completely. Suddenly, the scorpion tail moved fast and stabbed the back of the cat-head creature due to its transparency. Seth was able to see something being injected into the Cat-head creature.

The monster thrashed its crocodile-snake body in protest and its bear hands smashed at the scorpion tail body, but it didn't do any damage before it began to lose its strength and it fell down dead.

Checking the time his face became bleak.

Only seconds remain and he still has more than 500 meters before reaching the forest. Seth then stood and placed his staff in a crevice and then then, "Size Reschedule!"

The staff expanded and shot him forward toward the forest fast. However, even that was not enough as time ticked down and the crevice keeping the staff began to lose.

"AHHHHHHHH!' Seth screamed as the brunt of the pressure hit him before he entered the forest protection. His broken body rolled and his staff shrunk.

[Health Status: Good>Pain>Broken>Lethal]

Seth's mangled body was in a twisted position but thankfully Green Hood Cloak and his attunement to the forest helped him to recover faster. Ten minutes later he was fully healed and Seth called status as he looked if anything changed apart from his level. Nothing did.

He sighed and walked back to his mansions.

As someone who can negate gravity, he was able to run as fast as an athlete without having his exertion point reduced. Not only that, anything he grabbed will have a bit of that trait too. He took advantage of that and began to renovate his village houses and took the sculptures to their respective house.

He didn't start painting until he reached a milestone where Village Point was awarded to him. He tried to upgrade the Cloak but it refused until he upgraded some key points of the village.

So he went to his cottage.

"Improve!"
