Chapter 361 Death Knell

Seth didn't plan on turtling inside the cart anymore.

Despite his sombre heart, he felt uncontrollable excitement with the new defence instrument of the cart.

The moment he saw the gigantesque creature was slowed down and sent away by the beam from his cart's strongest attack he knew he needed to be out.

He will need his blade to do the damage or even possibly kill it.

The gigantesque fell and rolled on the ground, and as it stood, Seth had come out and stood above the Gawee Cart; he glanced at the marking atop that summoned the object and also touched the object.

"Death Knell!" Seth muttered with satisfaction and excitement.

This excitement was not normal.

Seth was truly clear-minded, unlike before when he fought that dangerous creature. That means it wasn't someone's injury that caused him a warped mind or messed with his emotions.

Even the failed attack of Gawee Beast haxes on him only tickled him. Even that Cat with two mouths failed to truly reach his mind.

This excitement came from Battle Might he has. Even though it was sealed within him, the effect was still functioning, albeit not completely.

Seth was holding his staff firmly and his gaze fixed on the creature before. He had never seen them this close before.

Menos!

They always command absolute brute strength and they have no predators. Most of the time it was easier to hunt and kill Medos than to face these walking absolute disasters.

Even in the Garden Of Eden, there were a lot of Medos hunters, but there were few Menos Hunters.

So why would he leave the safety of the cart and face this creature?

There was one easy answer, to kill it.

In all his sudden thoughts and plan with what he had in this situation he realised he needed to face the powerful creature to stand a chance upon what he wanted to do.

You don't win a war by hiding behind a shield all day long. Not to mention, this creature wasn't the only enemy.

The menos ran and jumped to Seth altitude with ease but Seth held his staff for three seconds now and it had recovered a bit.

It expanded and became heavy and met the brute, Seth used that opportunity to push himself away from the creature using the staff.

He can't stay up in the air all day long, his Defying Gravity can now only slow his fall and not make him float indefinitely.

Besides, no matter how much he makes the staff heavy and hard and attacks the massive creature he won't even pass its passive defensive aura around its body.
