Chapter 314 Mental Games

Wasn't this the time to fight him? They all know without his tools he is weak.

Of course he might be hiding something, like his staff or a weapon, and his attire was in shifting armour form. They also know his cape can attack. But didn't they all make preparations for that.

They have trained and rehearsed how to face all that. Why were they hesitant?

Shema dashed forward, his face was in anger and pulled a blade. Maybe because he was angry or ashamed of what happened to him earlier but he wanted to break the spell.

He knew why they were all hesitant, it was Seth's face, the damn boy was forcing pity and fear in their heart using his face alone.

"This boy is a genius. Why didn't you alert your people!" The temporal warrior asked Captain Navy.

"Because if they attack without regaining themselves they will make mistakes. Look at their eyes, they focused on his face only, their eyes were disarray!" The man said with annoyance.

Seth knew his face was not normal. It was pale, his hair gray, and his eyes bulged out. He looked like a ghost, at first he controlled himself and as a game avatar, some players can paint or change their avatar however they like. At first they think that was the case for him.

But now as he began to use his face to deter them from coming to him, he acted, in a way to show numerous things, pity, agony and fear.

His panic was all a ruse, his shout and shouting words, all were meant to elicit something in the players and it was working.

Horror was real in this game and players can feel fear.

Seeing Shema was attacking, Seth didn't try to defend but took a step back and he stepped on his cape which made him fall on his butt, the man came above with his sword. Seth with a fearful expression looked at him as he tried to scurry away.

Right as Shema was about to attack, a chakran appeared and met him. Shema dashed left and right but the chakram locked on him and followed him.

Seth was still on the floor afraid of the incoming attack.

Captain Navy looked at one of the team mates and called. The man looked at him and after some moment he regained himself and raised his weapon, a long rifle, capable of shooting fist size bullets.

Without the string to provide information to the Fist Record Book, Seth only felt danger without the information of the new attacker.

Blast Hand as a Sniper adjusted his large gun and aimed, Seth looked at him and he scrambled up away from firing range, that when he saw his body stiffened.

He was grabbed in place. It was not Dome Maker, it was the person that dragged him out of the strings.

Magic Binder floating has been aiding Almight fight against the battle beast but suddenly turned and a bolt of white light released from his hand toward Seth.

'...pulse!'

Dragon pulse in his red cape appeared which nullified the attack but also made him free from the hold. The next moment was the sniper that shot out.

Bang!

Banng!

Staff of Elevation was the one that yanked itself away and moved faster than the bullet and expanded before the bullet hit it.

His staff had free reign to attack and waved but suddenly the sun seemed to have accelerated and it was night already, stars above and the moon was glaring at them.

The feeling of uncertainty increased in Seth's heart but there was nothing he could do.

From above him a flash of lightning descended very fast, Seth only glanced up before he looked toward Dome Maker, the man was on his knees but he still isolated his place.

Seth concentrated and put the pressure of Intimidation and Domination on him but he still didn't remove his control. By then the lightning had reached but a glass shield expanded and took in the energy before it shifted very fast to intercept a bullet coming toward him.

Seth cape shifted also and struck Captain navy attacking him from behind.

From afar one can see Seth in center, lightning coming from sky and a force protecting him and by his side explosion happening due to bullet impact and from behind and infront of him Captain Navy flicker around attacking but the red cape that has extended longer than normal was always a hindrance.

From time to time there was a pulse of pressure attacking the captain but he always shrugged it off.

When things become too intense a glass dome appeared and Seth hid inside, his face still serious as he glared at them.

"Magic Binder, you need to take away this shield. Invisible Hand I want to turn off his Intimidation and Domination even if it was for a second. We need to reach him. Kass, you will weaken him with your venom."

Captain Navy can feel the percentage of success was already high with less cost.

He burst into laughter and said, "You are cornered boy. You are dead. We will have everything you own. Haha!"

But there was a sudden silence. Even the captain became silent. From above them something fell down with a spray of red liquid.

Captain Navy saw the head of their Mage fall beside him, instead of shock or fear he smiled, "Idiot, how the hell did you die!"

His gaze then looked Seth but he was no longer in the glass dome, he looked around and saw the blood of the mage being controlled.

"Show yourself boy!"

Almight has lost one of his hands, his two weapons were shattered, his eye bleeding as well as there were many broken bones and bleeding wounds.

But looking at the dying beast he smiled. This was the hardest fight he ever had but he won finally.

He dragged his broken leg and walked back to the team which was more than a kilometer away. That was when he saw the mage falling. It was as if he cut into pieces very fast and he rained down.

Almight pulled out a fruit and swallowed it, his face scrunched but his broken leg began to heal and he jugged back before he stopped from a distance.

A Temporal Warrior appeared beside him. "It's bad. I don't know how it happened but they are all deranged. Only Shema is struggling."

What stood before them was Captain Navy was laughing like a maniac, sniper was just aiming and firing at air and Invisible Hand was standing without motion.

"Bring Shema here?" Almight commanded and the Temporal Warrior waved his hand and the Vice Captain was before them.

"Look above the dome!" Shema shouted the moment he appeared before them.

Indeed, there was a wide canvas. One meter long and half a meter wide, on it was a depiction of Gawee Continent!
