Chapter 280: Facing Multiple Dragons

Blood splatter in sky and rained down but then it stopped and levitated in the sky. Before it went toward the human that have had his eyes closed all these while. A phantom silver container was beside him.

Then he plummeted down and opened his gaze with a frown.

Seth was both confused, delighted and also disappointed.

"This can't be practical in all situations!" He surmised.

"Battling someone smart that knows my skills will be dangerous!" He added as he noticed more flying baby dragons coming toward him.

"But I'm the limitations. The more I master the skills the more the wheel can make accurate judgment in actions."

The strings spread and vanished the further they were away from him. His staff expanded and became heavy, pummeling the jet dragon that was still in fighting shape.

Seth also pulled the ripped wing and limb to him and stored it away.

While that was happening, new dragons was in the presence. A dragon with blood-red scales was the closest.

His Pharaoh's Whip flashed to the oncoming red-scaled dragon. The dragon's scales glow with heat and the whip caught fire before it reached it.

The Pharaoh's Whip was pulled back and the dragon speed up and came close while resisting the dreaded gaze from the human.

Preeminence Gaze, Intimidation and Domination were all active.

It was about to ram at Seth when her figure vanished completely.

Safe House Skill was deployed!

However, the strings around Seth vanished.

To deploy 'Safe House' he has to turn off 'Three Fold Word Fence'.

Pharaoh's Whip then flashed at the rest of the dragons coming to him.

Seth glance at the skill page, he was thinking of using Pharaoh's Whip at full power. He placed his hand on the page and activated it.

Red Signature Book glowed pale crimson and Seth felt a heavy burden on his back. The whip attached to his back became more real than it was.

Seth frowned as he saw that his Exertion Points were reducing faster than normal. His agility also reduced.

But with only a thought, the closest dragon with brown scales was lashed, its scales burst out, blood splashed out and it was blasted away at subsonic speed, ramming at a distant tree.

"This is the real power of the Pharaoh's Whip!" Seth was exclaimed.

He knew it wasn't as his hand was not touching the book.

Another dragon moved faster to attack Seth while trying to avoid the violent whip but the moment Seth focused a bit, the dragon was sent flying away with similar injury.

The remaining four dragons spread and moved far away but with a thought, the whip wrapped around one of them and dragged it at superspeed and rammed it at the closest dragon to it.

The other two were far away now but a hurling of stone followed them, the one that was slow was rammed and crashed down.

The last one flew up very fast and vanished into the cloud.

"Hoo!" Seth panted.

Every mental command didn't need precise control but the action was flawless but it was still mentally draining.

"This whip has some regal aura to it." Seth commented.

The water vortex trapping red-scaled dragon exploded and some of it reached him and pulled him into the vortex.

Seth escaped and dragons claws swipe and bites missed him. The momentum of the hot red-scaled dragon in the vortex smacked at two of the dragons.

The hot-red scaled dragon tried to fly away but a whip pulled her back into the vortext and Seth walked out again.

He stood inches away from the vortex as defence against attacks.

Roar!

Roar!

All the dragons roared at the vortex and the sound blast disrupted it for a moment.

Before Seth could do anything, the bigger dragon that was smacked away rammed at the vortex and immediately, the hot-red scaled dragon managed to escape and the big dragon was capture.

The next moment, the vortex stopped and the giant dragon too escape, but it size has reduced dramatically.

The vortex continued like before.

Now there were seven dragons flying around, eying Seth menacingly. From time to time they roared at him and he used the vortext to defend.

The vortex was three meters tall but if there was something in it, it increased up to 5 meters.

However, the size of the vortext wasn't the problem but it was the water it made up of. The dragon stamina and power will be suppressed inside.

Seth smirked as he mocked them before he jumped into the vortex and hide at the centre. Now they have to breach it to reach him.

The dragons looked at each other as they moved around at tremendous speed around in the sky.

They generate their movement blast to target the vortex.

But try as they may, they weren't doing anything. They have no choice but to entertain the idea of Dragon Breath.

Before they did, the green dragon that brought the reinforcement, jerked back and he was pulled back violently.

Around his wings and legs were thin strings dragging him to the vortex.

They all reacted and flew toward him but the Jet dragon that didn't loose his wing and leg roared and said.

~Leave him, it's a trap~

None of the dragon knew they were under Preeminence Gaze with a supplement of Confusionist effect.

The giant dragon reached the green dragon first and the second was hot-red scaled dragon but something rammed at her before a dragon breath forced the rest of the five dragon to dispersed.

~Traitor~

The dragons said in unison and hot-red scaled Dragon went on and bit his neck and slammed it away in anger but the jet dragon pushed her away without care.

~Don't go close to him~

The giant dragon shouted too before he vanished into the vortext that now expanded to 8 meters tall, silencing his presence and roar.

It was then they shook off the confusion and realised what had happened.

Jet Dragon was right, if they have gotten closed to the green dragon they would have been captured.

~He can't capture all of us at the same time~

A dragon with stone scales roared in anger wanting to attack but they all glared at him, especially the hot-red scaled dragon.
