Chapter 156: Petition For Reward
Chapter 156: Petition For Reward
Seth followed the crowd looking around, he had no idea what he was going to do. The game also did not give any notification of where he was or even a quest to do.
'I'm on my own!' Seth reckoned. So, he just moved around hoping he would trigger something. He talked to one of them but everyone around him froze and then glared at him.
His heart skipped a beat and his green cloak flapped around as if a heavy wind but there was no wind. Unconsciously his aura activated and that made them move away. A minute later, all of them walked away.
'Rule 1. Don't talk to anyone!' Seth concluded.
Above one of the thousand-meter skyscrapers, two people stood there watching different parts of the city.
"Why is it a City now?" Samsi asked. He was standing with another dignified man with a Yellow cape flapping in the wind. He wore full body armour that emits yellow light whenever he moves.
"The type of people you brought here triggered it."
"You brought in 12 people, only in this chaotic city will they have enough challenge!"
Boom.
One of the skyscrapers have an explosion within it, and the duo's attention went there.
"You brought that Temporal Warrior again." The man with the yellow cape frowned. But Samsi's attention was on a player that was surrounded by hundreds of people as she played chest to them. Each one contributed to the decision of the chest and yet, the girl was one step ahead of them.
However, Juma might be winning, the problem was that whenever her piece was eliminated, she got a physical injury and her attention waver.
And when she eliminated one of their pieces, her mind became dull for a moment and her cognitive ability lowered down. It was a lose-lose situation for her on the surface but the reward was exactly what she wanted.
In another place, a player, Fist was chilling around a pool where hundred tiny fishes were trying to bite his legs, and with each passing time, his body reduced in size and the tiny carnivorous fish increased in power.
Soon enough they will be as big as him and overwhelm him but he wasn't worried at all. The bigger they become the more they will fight among themselves for the chance to get him. And in the end, the strongest will face him. The fight will require him to use the crocodile bloodline to its fullest to survive and that was a good thing. When was the last time he used it? Never.
"Yellow City doesn't welcome guests like that!" The man in full body armour said, his yellow cape flapping and his armour glowing with yellow energy.
"Come on chief. He is a good person!" Samsi said as he looked at the person the chief of the city wasn't fond of, it was Ash. His ash-coloured attire has assumed its true black colour.
Not only that, he has a cloak similar to Seth but was Ash in colour and with every movement, It releases ashy dust. However, the dust does not pollute the surroundings as they just shimmered around him.
Right now, he was above one of the skyscrapers, tied with yellow chains on his two hands, and neck. More than one hundred NPCs surrounded him carrying different technologically advanced rifles. They also wore a uniform which betrayed them being police in the city.
Ash seemed upset about the mistreatment but there was nothing he could do.
"Please, let him go!" Samsi said.
"Hmm. You are ignorant, these people aren't that dangerous but the fact they have something that could have threatened True Yellow City in the past makes us wary." The man said before he looked elsewhere, "look at those people in the shop?"
Samsi looked and his eyes wide in shock, he quickly looked at Ash and the person at the shop, they were alike. The difference was this one dressed like an NPC in the town and the other was under arrest.
[Level 1 Yellow Dwellers will respect you]
The NPCs dispersed and he was left with the farmer. Seth smirked and wet other parts of the soil and planted nine more seeds. Patiently, he watered them until they bulged.
"Thank you. That will be enough for me" the farmers said.
Seth smiled and nodded, he went directly to another field and repeated what he did.
[Yellow Popularity +1]
[Level 2 Yellow Dwellers will respect you]
The thing was, some mob had come again with anger but after his popularity increased they left but a single man stayed that gave a seth and dangerous feeling.

[Yellow City Quest]
[Yellow City was one of the most technologically advanced nations in the past. they were able to tap into sun rays and use them as their source of power. With it they invented countless items, alas they were ultimately destroyed. Their land becomes infertile and their people were slaughtered, only a few survived]
~Plant 5 different varieties of Seed and nurture them to the sprouting stage
[Reward]
~Yellow Belt
______
"Finally, I know what to do now!"
Seth has used one variety but now, he took another one that belongs to food crops and planted it on the next plot of land.
His popularity skyrocketed and now anyone that comes passing will say, "Good Morning, Mr Seth. Keep up the good work!"
But one thing remained, the danger seemed to increase. After planting ten sets of five different varieties in different plots.
"Oh my God. You are a great person. Thank you, these seeds are the best I have seen in my life!"
The ten NPCs that Seth planted on their plot surrounded him and began to talk.
"We need to inform the chief and reward him for his hard work!" One of the farmers said.
"Agreed. Let's write a petition so that that grumpy man will not send us away!" Another said.
Seth, on the other hand, looked at his cloak and it now has a very tiny stripe on it. But he saw that red stripes were expanding to consume it but the yellow stripe was resisting.
Seth didn't stop, he went around with Soothing Gourd making sure the soil was wet enough. Seth has 7 in popularity and Level 7 Dwellers were very respectful of him. The good news was the majority of the NPCs were level 5 and below, and due to that, in just some minutes hundreds of signatures agreed for Seth to obtain a gift.
