Chapter 122: Red Stream

She was ashamed of herself and tried looking down but her face was just too wide and flat that she couldn't look away. Not to mention she has no eyelid to close her eyes.

She just has to stare at him and everyone.

She was revolting, but Seth felt laughter trying to escape him and strangely he laughed. Was he free, but when he tried to move, he failed.

The hideous girl's eyes reddened and tears rolled down. "That makes two of us. But heck!" Seth said, "are you not trying to get rid of her?" He asked Redop.

Redop and the elders have calmed expressions but the town members shifted uncontrollably before the ugliest thing they ever saw. The mother was frowning but stayed beside her daughter.

When the girl moves, the bones on her back wiggle which made even her mother uncomfortable. In fact, some townspeople left to vomit.

What Seth didn't notice was that red energy was passing from him to the Bride through the rope that connected them. Gradually, a red halo enveloped her as the energy intensified and then she was encased in a veil.

The next thing that happened was the agonizing scream of the girl.

"What is happening?" The elders panicked as they saw Seth just sitting there looking at the red halo that pulsed with power. He was in shock.

When that happened a notification appeared that made him reevaluate what was happening.

"Calm down!" Redop said with confidence.

"Isn't they supposed to share some kind of bond where a portion of his body attribute passed to her?" One of the elders asked.

"Seth is different. He is weak physically. But his mental power is comparable to a baby dragon!" Redop said as he silenced everyone.

Seth understood what was happening. All this wedding shit was for him to be sacrificed for the girl to regain her normal human form. However, if he was weak physically and mentally then he was done for.

After 30 minutes, the red cocoon broke and the exquisite flawless rosy skin with a well-proportioned body appeared warped in red liquid and some red petals covered most of her body. She was in a coiled position.

'Goo...lord. The pain is over!'

Seth felt her thoughts as a very strong connection was established between them.

All the people around smiled with gladness. The townsfolk bowed, and the elders and the mother kneeled in respect. Only, Redop stood there.

"Your wish for your wife to be beautiful has been granted. Now the second part of the dowry!"

"My wish?" Seth cursed underneath.

"I, the father of your Bride, demanded to support the growth of our ancient tree for your brethren to be relieved of their valiant duty!"

At that moment, Seth's attention was attracted toward the fact Fratile was nowhere to be seen. Did he fight the dragon? Why is he? Is he dead?" Seth wondered, but then a dreadful feeling appeared in him.

"Did he betray me?"

The ancient tree was already flourishing and making new leaves fast. The near-dead players were no longer burdened but some of them have reached the points of no return.

"The ancient tree needs fertilizer. Quick brought those bags!" In a hurry, people brought powder and dumped it under the tree. A little pond appeared as it dilute but the next moment, everything was absorbed.
