Chapter 118: Aura Blood

That wasn't the end because the next moment he was pitted against a cacophony of noises from different animals and humans in the river. All those that ever died due to blood loss were there, some crying, some chatting, some singing but as a collective, it was an insistent and irritating echo.

"You have a strong will to not be lost in the Loss River. Join me and I can pull you out!"

"O...!" Seth stopped himself because at that moment he didn't know who he was speaking with.

"I have no time to waste. If your Will is lost in this place, you will die. You have potential and your brother Dave is waiting for you. Accept and then I will save you. Even I'm being affected!"

It was the chief's voice speaking

"Nah, I'm good. You see, I get to know people here. It might seem crowded but it's good!" Seth said and the voices became louder than ever and the chief's voice was nowhere to be heard again.

Seth felt his will cracking again and he began to lose his sense of self, that was when an idea came to him. And that was to call his Red Valley given name.

"Sascile Redone!"

The whole noise calmed down and he saw a bright light amidst the never-ending red. He kept reciting his name. And that brought him close to the light, but the closer he got the more the stream of blood river pulled him back.

But he continued until he touched the light.

A streak of red outlines vertically on the green cloak. By touch, it still felt like a leaf, but more of a wet leaf with liquid moving inside.

It hasn't been a minute since Seth was in that trial. He took a deep sigh as he observed his cloak but before he checked its new attribute an explosion occurred.

Kaboom!

It shook the whole town, from where Seth was, he noticed, 1⁄3 of the whole town was gone in flames. At the same time, something was running at them very fast.

The young chief angrily vanished and intercept whatever it was that caused another explosion in the sky. Before more explosions happened through harm and the combatant clashed.

That's not all, the ground shook, and then as if the whole world was flipping, the town was being turned from the ground level up.

The sky streaked with lightning and tried to defend the chief mansion.

"Death To Skylord!"

A chant of some sort began, the street was blooded as people that were once neighbours just turned enemies killing each other, the blood, however, began to be sucked out of them and became a moving and became floating river.

"What the hell happened!"

"The cult couldn't afford to see the chief succeed twice in a row!" A small voice said. He turned and met a young red beautiful woman.

"Living Roots! This is a great treasure. I will. But half of them are mine!" She said giddily.

Seth pretend to argue but in the end, he agreed. Then she tapped him and he appeared beside Dave and Redop side by side fighting against red hounds and wolves.

"You are late," Dave grumbled. For the first time, seth was able to notice something, on Dave's body there was a very faint colour of pale energy coming out and dissipating in the air. He looked at Redop and found he had the same but there was a portion of red in it.

He looked at his hands and we smiled wildly.

The actual nature and colour of human Aura were Pale. He can see Human actual aura now, even his own. That was due to the flower he chose.

But then it didn't budge, it got stuck while Dave was talking to him but he ignored him. Seth tried to remember all he knew about Aura from the large book. The Mind, the Body, the Emotions, the Spirit.

The moment he thought about them, the aura that was dissipating from his body lingered and with more thought, it fused to his body and he felt as if he was elevated. His attire and staff were all he felt in him and he just released the staff and it floated close to him

His Green-Red Cloak fluttered as if the wind was blowing his way. Seth felt at that time he was invincible. With a thought, the staff shortened and became a blade then with a flurry of elevated strikes he killed all the wolves that surrounded them.

Then he felt the aura depleting and his control over staff was reduced, he grabbed it before it fell down. And he felt exhausted.

"Wow. What was that? Your green cloak had red now and. Why did your skin seem immaculate? " Dave asked.

Seth's eyes though were made crescent in happiness.
