Chapter 116: Redop Vs Seth

"Shitty, monster!" Seth cursed and then he jumped and rolled away from where he was as the humanoid threw a large boulder at him. The room was too small for the monster to come in so it tried throwing objects at Seth.

When the initial shock was gone, seth regained his composure and dashed toward the monster as it was grabbing a large rubble, seeing that, the monster dropped the rubble and punched forward, seth slid and avoided the first, while also shortening the staff.

Right when he was beneath the monster, he planted the staff making the upper butt of the staff encounter the monster's face, at the same time the monster's leg rose to stump him like an ant. However, Size Reschedule was faster.

As the staff elongated fast, it also expanded its thickness a little and that hit the monster's face very hard and sent it reeling three meters back. Seth didn't use elevated strike for a reason.

Seth hesitated but before he looked away, the red giant four-meter humanoid monster had already recovered and it dashed toward Seth and it was fast.

The monster roared at Seth which caused the air around to change a bit. At that moment, the monster was held in place by a red shadow beneath it. The monster hit the ground in order to escape but to no avail. Its hands glowed red and smashed the floor, each shattering the concrete, it became free and speed up toward seth with murderous intent.

Seth tilted his head, his oversized staff on his shoulder and then swung it at the monster. It wasn't mindless, the monster avoided the staff and rammed Seth toward a wall.

It was fast, faster than Seth could move away.

'Good!' Seth thought. The staff was small already, but with quick adjustment it expanded, supported by the wall it pushed the monster away and gave him time to stand. Another thing was, Seth swung the staff, this time the monster punched Seth's head while ignoring the staff.

Right, when the staff was just inches away from the monster, the staff expanded to the 1-meter thickness and its heaviness increased.

It's as if a heavy beam of metal had hit its head, and the monster swayed to the left, before it recovered, seth adjusted again and the staff elongated and supported by the wall with increased weight smashed at the humanoid monster's chest and that sent him back ten meters with a caved chest. Its ribs were broken.

Seth stood well, with no visible injury, his Green Hood Cloak fluttering in the wind and he put the 1m thick staff in his shoulder. His eyes were calm as he stared at the struggling red giant.

"Chief will judge this!" Another enforcer shouted at him but one slap sent the man away. And then he attacked Seth.

'Good. I can go on for some time!' The moment he thought that a red sword energy attack slammed at him. Which sent him a hundred meters away, he slammed into a wall that shattered and he went into the house.

People in the house screamed with fright and the father brought his weapon to attack but he saw an angry Redip coming, so he stepped back.

"What happened?" The man asked.

Redop's long blade was coated with red energy, and he made a stabbing motion and made a high jump to stab Seth. Before he reached it, Seth jumped on his feet and dashed away using his staff to propel him away.

Redop slashed at Seth's back before saying, "He killed my daughter!"

The red monster Seth fought was Redop's angry daughter. She was unstable and they had been trying to cure her symptoms but failed. The Ghost that gave her powers was very possessive and dangerous. And today, right at dawn, she transformed and attacked Seth.

Seth didn't kill the monster but for now, he doesn't want Redop to know as he was trying to achieve something. As the red energy hits him and he hits the wall, Seth elevates the staff and moves onto the roof.

From there, he kept avoiding Redop attacks if he could and taking them if count, causing the whole town to wake up and also causing some damage. Somehow the buildings were very robust and strong and the reason for that was due to the frequent monster outbreak which caused a lot of infrastructure to be damaged. But making them sturdy solves that problem.

Seth fell into an alley and Redop reached there in time and stormed Seth with so many blades.

"In my name, I pierce all the armour!" Redop shouted. And the red energy changed. Seth too felt his skin chill.

"Die!"

Seth was propelled a hundred meters in the sky, at the same time, Redop jumped and followed him.

In times of conflict, Seth's perceptions can increase to perceive things in slower motions. That's what happened at that moment.

Redop was very fast coming toward seth.
