After steeling his resolve, Mark turned back to Arit with a smile and thanked her as he leaned down to give her a kiss. Arit leaned into the kiss happily and hummed as they separated after a while.
Arit hugged Mark tighter, and Mark raised a brow when he noticed a pout on her face. Mark asked her what was wrong, and Arit's answer made Mark burst out in laughter.
"I guess you finally found a reason to stop going to school, didn't you?"@@@@
Mark put his hand on his face as he laughed his ass off. Mark didn't even think about school all this while, and he couldn't believe Arit was still talking about it like he was playing hooky! The fate of the world was on the line, and Arit thought he was using it as an excuse to miss school. Mark fucking loved this girl.

"What the fuck is that on your forehead? Did you join some sort of gang? I don't know if you know, but I'm not really into gangs. If I find out you joined one, then I'm turning you into the police immediately!"
"Your eye bags have eye bags, you bastard. You looked like you hadn't closed your eyes in a straight week. Are you even getting any sleep, you idiot?"
Pat was the one who spoke up first in his usual brash and pompous manner once he saw Mark standing at his door with that tattoo on his forehead, and Mark just scrunched up his face in slight annoyance as he saw the large eye bags under Pat's eyes.
Pat hadn't even said hello to either Mark or Arit, and Pat just gave Mark the middle finger when he heard what Mark said. Mark smacked the idiot on the back of the head and told him to say a proper greeting next time as he walked into the house, and Pat clicked his tongue in annoyance before saying a quick hello to Arit and a 'fuck you' to Mark before following after Mark.
"Arit might be pregnant."
Mark finally just came out and said it, and Arit turned to him with wide, scandalized eyes. What the hell was wrong with him!? You don't just say something like that!
"Wow, sister-in-law. You're going to give me a little nephew or niece? And here I thought this sister of mine would be the first to do that, but with her lack of a love life, I didn't have very high hopes for her."
Pat's voice came from the other side of the living area as he walked out with a new outlet. He tried to hand it to Jeanne, but Jeanne didn't even bother looking at him! Jeanne was just too shocked as she looked from Mark to Arit and then back again at Mark and tried to understand what the fuck Mark, just said! Pregnant!? Arit might be pregnant!? What the hell was wrong with them!?
"You're in high school! What were you thinking!?"
"I'm sorry!"
Arit quickly apologized as Jeanne shouted angrily at her, and Arit took a step back as she saw real rage burning in Jeanne's eyes! Jeanne was someone Arit looked up to a lot and she saw Jeanne almost like a big sister now! So seeing Jeanne get so angry at her made Arit's guilt increase even more! Jeanne glared at Arit and then looked over at Mark with a glare as well! Mark met her gaze calmly before he sighed and spoke.
"Look, it just happened, okay? We were stupid and didn't think things through that night. Can you do something about it? We already spoke about it, and it's Arit's choice about what happens, so just help us find out if we're right and then we'll talk about it. Please."
Mark's calm disposition managed to diffuse the bomb that had been stewing in Jeanne's heart, and she could only sigh as she put her hand to her head when she felt a headache coming! Jeanne couldn't believe these kids would do something as careless as having unprotected sex at their age! And she couldn't believe Arit would get pregnant before her! This was so fucking unfair!
Arit was just a high school student, and she didn't even know what she wanted to do with her life yet! If Arit got a baby now, that would derail everything that she wanted to do with herself!
