But Gunter was not as much of a pushover as Mark originally thought. It appeared that Gunter was also able to fight a lot easier since he did not have anyone distracting him.
Unlike before, when Gunter would not be able to dodge or block some of Mark's punches, it was now a lot easier for Gunter to use his flames to keep Mark at a distance while attacking with his own flurry of punches whenever they got close together. That had been about thirty minutes ago, and Kevin was able to catch up to them in that time.
Strangely, the two combatants seemed to come to an agreement at that moment. They both knew they didn't want any distractions while beating the shit out of each other, so they both vanished from the city and were now in the sky, flying toward another part of the ALTERWORLD that was even further away from the first one! Mark lashed out with his Fangs and grabbed Gunter around the arm!
Gunter eyed his arm in confusion once more as something wrapped around him, and he didn't have any time to react as Mark turned around and tossed Gunter to the ground, creating a large dust cloud that rose high into the sky! Mark shot down to meet Gunter on the ground, but he had to stop as he saw a deep yellow light shining out from the dust cloud!
"Phoenix Surge!"
A blast of phoenix fire surged out from the dust cloud and toward Mark, and Mark used the Fangs to latch onto a tree at the side and pull himself out of the way of the flames! Mark heard the sound of running coming at him from the distance, and it didn't even take three seconds before Gunter was right on top of him again!
BOOM!
Their fists clashed in the middle as a large sonic boom echoed through the area! Gunter had a wide smile on his face, and Mark's face was devoid of emotion as he pulled back his fist to prepare another hit!
"Phoenix Slash!"
Phwoosh!
A blade of fire slashed toward Mark as Gunter tried to put some distance between them again, but Mark easily dodged under it and followed after Gunter, making sure he didn't give him any room to breathe!
Mark lashed out with a punch, and Gunter just managed to dodge to the left to avoid it, but Mark easily flowed with the punch as he simply spun around and slammed his leg into Gunter's body, making him fly back like a bullet!

DOON!
WOOSH!
BAM!
Gunter brought his other arm up immediately in a block that barely saved him from a concussion, and Mark frowned when he saw that! Mark immediately jumped to the ground, and Gunter frowned in irritation as he felt something wrap around his stomach.
'Not this shit again! What the fuck is he using to hold me like this!?'
Mark pulled Gunter forward with a shout, lifted him off the ground, and brought him back down!
SLAM!
Gunter slammed into the ground with enough force to send tremors through the ALTERWORLD, but he didn't stay down for long as he grabbed the chain around his waist and easily broke it into pieces to free himself. He looked up again, and his eyes widened as he saw Mark right in front of him with his arm pulled back!

Mark lashed out with another critical hit, but Gunter just managed to bring up his hands in a sloppy defense to prevent it from hitting his head! He was thrown back by the punch and slammed into another tree in the distance! Mark put his hand out and activated a skill.

Mark frowned when he read this. He figured it wouldn't work! Gunter had a lot of mana that he mainly used in creating his flames, but Mark thought that after using all that mana to create his flames and using up so much stamina, Gunter would finally be running low on mana.
