"You're angry?" Mona smirked, clearly amused by his fake charm. She burst into laughter, her body shaking with the intensity of it.

Her exaggerated laughter sent a chill down Kennard's spine. Her taunts made him lose his composure for a brief moment, a crack in his otherwise controlled facade.
