Chapter 31: Ferocious woman
Chapter 31: Ferocious woman
Ayra's eyes blazed with an unquenchable fury as she beheld the scene before her. Her broken spear held tightly in her trembling hand, she charged towards the colossal man who had mercilessly thrown her defenceless nephew into a gnarled tree, leaving him bleeding and broken.
"Noooo!" she screamed, her voice a mix of anguish and rage, her heart pounding like a war drum.
With a primal roar, Ayra leapt forward, her every ounce of strength channelled into that battered spear. Her movements were swift, driven by an overwhelming need for vengeance. The light of hatred danced in her eyes, as though she were a force of nature herself.
The gigantic man turned toward Ayra after wiping his face, a wicked grin playing on his lips, thinking her a mere insect to be swatted away. But he had underestimated her resolve. In a flash, she was upon him, her spear aimed at the very pinnacle of his skull.
The clash was a symphony of violence and defiance, a struggle between an indomitable spirit and a hulking behemoth.
She had given up all her limits, with her only intention being to kill the man in front of her and go back to her nephew and hug him.
"Die! Die! Die!" Ayra's voice was a fierce growl, her words etched with the pain of a thousand wounds.
The spear's tip found its mark, piercing through flesh and bone, and Ayra poured every ounce of her anger into that thrust. Again and again, she drove the weapon into him, her curses echoing through the air like a vengeful chorus.
Each strike was a testament to the ferocity of her love for her nephew, each stab a declaration that she would not allow anyone to touch her family.
The man's struggles grew weaker, his once formidable strength dwindling as the fatal wound sapped his life force and the poison did its work as his limbs grew numb over time. With a final, defiant glare, he collapsed, his eyes fading to a vacant white as death claimed him.
Ayra's chest heaved, her breath ragged as she stood over the fallen giant, her hands still clutching the blood-stained spear. She had avenged her nephew, but the cost had been steep.
Tears welled in her eyes as she turned and ran to her injured nephew, Garnt, her heart aching with a mixture of relief and sorrow. Kneeling beside him, she gently cradled his battered form, her voice softening as she whispered words of comfort.
"Shh, it's over now. You're safe," Ayra murmured, her voice a soothing balm.
Ayra felt a little weird doing this on a battlefield and toward her sister's son, but she knew his safety was the priority.
"Garnt, you look like a baby, this is a really strange feeling," She didn't have any idea about what is considered taboo and what is not as a Stone Age woman, but felt it was wrong somehow to feed her sister's one and only son like this.
While Garnt was engrossed in taking the hydration he needed, the two kids kept looking at everything with confused faces. They saw how a gigantic man fell on the floor without showing any movement, and quickly got close to Garnt without even looking at Ayra.
They started to growl at him looking at him with a confused look. Ayra decided to talk with them on behalf of Garnt and explain things to them.
"You two.. are free now," She said those words hoping they would be able to understand her, but it didn't happen as they looked confused.
While Ayra and Garnt were busy in their own world, the woman who was with a gigantic man tried to escape, after getting her consciousness back, but her attempt didn't succeed as Garnt suddenly got his energy back and saw her crawling on the floor.
He also didn't have to act quickly since she was slower than a snail with her body going numb from the pain of Garnt's slight tap.
"Aunt! I'm sorry for doing that," With a little blush on his face, Garnt muttered but he knew this wasn't the time for his horniess to take over him.
He tried to get up, but he knew wounds were not allowing him to do that. Ayra, who quickly understood his intention lifted him like a princess and looked at him in the eyes.
"It's fine. I haven't fed my kid in years, so this is such a fresh feeling for me. Besides, it's not like I hated it," She said with a smile without even bothering to cover her wet nipples.
"Aunt, tie that woman and let's take her back to our cave, and tell these two kids to follow us. Also, make sure to check their cave to find anything useful for us. We are done here,"
Ayra nodded at his words, and decided to act upon his orders while carrying him. She felt like a true family when he relied on her, so she was more than happy to follow his orders knowing that he was the ideal man, she had been searching for years.
'Maybe I should ask him to mate with my daughter when she grows up. They will be able to live my dreams since both of them are matching with each other'
