he looked past the neatly voidwalkers towards the rows upon rows of void creatures that waited and writhed quietly. their numbers were at least ten times the ones they had used to attack the different races combined. and there were some particularly void creatures among them as well.
it was a terrifying lineup, one that was sure to either utterly wipe out the armies or severely cripple them.
however, his heart turned grim.
'those mysterious people that joined the armies and repelled our void creatures. our sources say that they are the subordinates of that christopher person.' he had many questions. like how christopher had become so strong in such a short amount of time, and how he had managed to attain such powerful subordinates that were willing to follow him so wholeheartedly.
he also wondered where christopher himself was. after what had happened on sinestra island, he had completely gone off the radar, his subordinates handling things instead.
he was definitely planning something.
'it matters not. our lord will soon descend, and they will wield the legend sword and destroy this world and bring everything to oblivion. plans do not matter in the face of true unadulterated nothingness.' it was at that moment that the eminence suddenly spoke.

"also thanatos why are you floating up here with us? aren't you meant to make the fight between the armies more equal?" kim looked at the lich strangely and he looked at her without humor.
"there's nothing with having a good vantage point." he retorted.
"yeah well you're also making yourself a target. you're the weakest person here physically." kim argued.
"as if there's anything here that can harm me." thanatos didn't back down.
soon the two of them were bickering and belladonna and the twins just shook their heads while silver seemed dazed, his eyes trained on kim.
'focus.' christopher's voice suddenly sounded in their minds and they all snapped to attention.
'the upgrade will begin in about ten minutes. kill as many void creatures as you can in that time.' he instructed and they all nodded.
"and the voidwalkers?" chiara asked.
'... spare them. most of them anyway.' the instruction threw them for a loop.
"... may we ask why?" silver ventured carefully.
'i have plans for them, don't worry. but if they prove to be too difficult then don't hesitate.' he explained and they all relaxed.
"is there anything else, master?" umbra asked and christopher went silent for a moment.
'... have fun.' hearing this, all of them grinned unconsciously.
"will do master~." belladonna said cheerfully and the rest also expressed their agreement.
christopher then went silent and silver grinned behind his mask.
