Ronan snorted, picked up his weapon, and left.

Thanos remained silent until Ronan left, at which point he slowly spoke.

"Ebony Maw, is there any news about Odin yet?"

Ebony Maw immediately bowed: "Lord Thanos, there's news, but..."

Ebony Throat stammered.

"Um... I heard that Odin is playing a virtual reality game and has now become its spokesperson."

"Huh? What?"

"It's the Stark Industries game that's been making headlines lately with the Xandar Chronicles. Odin endorses that game and has been playing it all along."

Upon hearing Ebony Maw's words, Thanos suddenly fell silent.

I sit in this chair every day, gazing at the stars, waiting for an opportunity.

And then... those old fogies were happily playing games.

"Am I out of touch with the times?" Thanos couldn't help but wonder.

"Stark Industries... Tony Stark, the so-called Avengers of Earth?"

Thanos snorted: "Tony Stark, he actually schemed against me, reaching out to Xandar without any warning."

……

"Achoo!" Tony suddenly sneezed and couldn't help rubbing his nose.

"What's wrong? You have a cold?" Fu You looked at Tony strangely.

"It's nothing, it's probably just someone talking about me," Tony said, shrugging to indicate he didn't care.

"Is this the revenue share you promised us?" Rocket Raccoon, holding a virtual reality headset, ran up to Fu You and questioned him.

Gamora and Star-Lord, who were standing nearby, nodded in agreement, feeling as if they were being scammed.

The 40 billion turned into a pile of scrap metal and agreements.

"These machines alone shouldn't be enough for 1 million, right?" Star-Lord complained, holding his helmet.

"1 million?" Fu You took a sip of his soda and chuckled knowingly, "1 million is just a small goal! Our goal is to dominate the universe market!"

Seeing the idiots' expressions as if he were looking at someone as stupid, Fu You coughed awkwardly.

"Ahem, you'll see once you try it. The server launches today, and we already have a sales point on Xandar."

In order to temporarily fool these alien bumpkins, Fu You had to stall them for a while.

He couldn't come up with 40 billion himself. Earth currency would be fine, but he didn't have any cosmic currency.

However, the money earned from virtual reality games in the universe is definitely the universe's currency, and the share of that money can be used.

"Can this stuff really be sold?" Rocket Raccoon was skeptical. Earth's cuisine was indeed quite good, and it might fetch a good price in space. But could Earth's high technology really be as advanced as that in space?

The Guardians of the Galaxy were not entirely convinced, but they put on their helmets and entered the game.

"Tony, what race are you planning to choose?" Fu You asked, glancing at Tony beside him.

"I'm quite curious about the so-called undead, I choose the Forsaken."

"Horde? Then I'll choose Alliance." Fu You decisively selected a human mage character.

The Guardians of the Galaxy have already entered the game, with Star-Lord being the first to choose to be human and enter directly.

The consciousness connection was successful, and Star-Lord opened his eyes.

Star-Lord was somewhat shocked by the sight of the crowd filling his field of vision.

"Why are there so many people?" Star-Lord looked around and saw a huge crowd, just like during the Spring Festival travel rush.

The simultaneous launch of Earth and Xandar, along with their shared servers, created a terrifying landscape.

Unable to find Rocket Raccoon and the others, Star-Lord simply followed the flow of people.

"It looks just like the real thing." Star-Lord looked around curiously.

The town, filled with medieval style, felt so real, except for the crowded streets, it didn't feel like a magical continent at all.

Star-Lord curiously patted another player next to him: "Hey buddy, how do you play this game?"

"Huh?" The warrior player holding the one-handed sword was stunned for a moment.

"Accept quests, fight monsters, level up, open treasure chests. I'm camping here, don't bother me." The warrior player quickly finished speaking and got ready for battle again.

"Fight monsters? Where are the monsters?" Star-Lord scratched his head. There were only people around him.

Just as Star-Lord was wondering what was going on, a strange creature suddenly floated out from behind him.

Star-Lord seemed to sense something and turned around to look.

[Floating Baby Dragon]

A name suddenly appeared in Star-Lord's field of vision.

"It's spawned over here!" someone shouted, and a group of people suddenly ran towards Star-Lord's side.

"Wait! What's going on here..." Before Star-Lord could say anything, he was engulfed by the crowd.

After a lot of trouble in the wild, Star-Lord finally made it back to town.

"Why do so many people still play this kind of game?" Star-Lord sat in the bar, panting heavily.

Having hardly ever played games, he simply couldn't understand the fervor of those players.

Just as Star-Lord was complaining, the bar owner placed a drink in front of him and said with a smile:

"Hey buddy, wanna play a game of Hearthstone?"

1. I haven't played World of Warcraft in ages. Back when I played, dying meant turning into a grave. I went back once before to do a Hearthstone quest, and I vaguely remember there being Mana Wyrms among the mobs. I'm not sure if that's it. Does anyone remember?

2. This is my birth year in the Chinese zodiac, and my birthday is coming up soon. My older sister dragged me out to the mall for a day.

3. Slight writer's block

4. (Continued from image) The God of Iron's Mercy, guess what this is?

Chapter 53 The Placement of the Infinity Stones

World of Warcraft quickly became a hit on Xandar, and Stark Energy's gaming equipment sold like hotcakes.

In an era where alien entertainment options even include gladiatorial arenas, virtual reality games are like opening a window to the heavens for aliens.

Although games like Assassin's Creed haven't been released on alien planets yet, World of Warcraft alone has a huge influence.

It was so big that it alarmed the Nova Corps' leadership.

What do you think of the games at that store?

In the Nova Corps' conference room, several high-ranking officers were discussing this issue.

"We've checked. The person renting the shop is a collector, but we don't currently know which company Stark Industries owns it," the subordinate reported truthfully, looking at the report.

"A collector? Why would someone from the black market suddenly be vying for the market of ordinary goods? And in such a way..." The high-ranking member of the Nova Corps pondered for a moment, unsure how to describe it.

“Confusing,” the subordinate continued.

"Yes, people go to that gas station every day thinking it sells spaceship energy. As a result, they get recommended games, and then they all stop going to port and rent hotels to play games."

"Where are the collectors? We have to ask them about this."

His subordinate looked embarrassed and said somewhat awkwardly:

"The collector hasn't shown up for a long time. He said he's collecting achievement trophies and won't see any visitors."

"Huh? What is that?" Everyone else was taken aback.

A black market dealer with a passion for collecting has disappeared. He must have gotten carried away with it.

"Could this be some kind of mind control device? Could it be addictive?" one of the higher-ups said with some fear.

Immediately, high-level officials began to discuss the matter.

"Aren't video games just boring things where you get doubled defense after a few hits and gain patience after a few poison hits? Are they really that captivating?"

The subordinate who made the report raised his hand: "Should we ban the sale of these goods?"

"No need, the game hasn't caused any harm yet."

Ultimately, it passed unanimously, without requiring any specific ban.

After the conclusion was reached, the meeting adjourned, and the subordinate who was responsible for the report walked out of the conference room with the documents in his hand.

"As expected of a high-ranking member of the legion, their insights into matters are so profound. I have learned a lot."

"Since the higher-ups say there's no problem, I'll get a game console tonight and try it out." With that thought, the man returned to his office with the documents in his arms.

However, what he didn't know was that after he left, the senior executives in the meeting room started chatting in small groups.

Are you guys free tonight? We need a healer for our next dungeon. Who plays healer?

"Me, me, have the people in the front row all cheered?"

"Oh dear, I still have some official business to do today. I'll be online as soon as I'm done. Wait for me!"

It seems some people have already started playing it.

……

On Ronan the Accuser's warship:

"Sir, preparations are complete." A soldier on the warship reported to Ronan.

After several days of preparation, Ronan had practically laid out all his savings.

Since Thanos won't cooperate with me, I'll go and steal that treasure from the Orb of Destiny. With that, I can destroy Xandar just the same way.

It's just Earth, and the biggest obstacle is Captain Marvel, Carol Danvers.

Ronan was not weak either, and he was not afraid.

"Has Xandar noticed what's happening here?" Ronan asked.

"Recently, some strange mechanical devices have become popular on Xandar, claiming to be virtual reality games where you can adventure on another continent."

"A game?" Ronan couldn't help but feel a little surprised.

When did these things become popular again?

However, Ronan himself is similar to Thanos, someone who fights everywhere and doesn't have much entertainment, so he's not very interested in this kind of popular culture.

"I didn't expect Xandar to be so lax. Well, this is a good opportunity to go to Earth and steal the Spirit Orb."

Ronan waved his hand and said, "Let's go."

The warships are deployed, preparing to attack Earth.

Many of the crew members were chatting about Earth's technological level and, incidentally, complaining about how easily the Chitauri were defeated.

It's unbelievable that we were defeated by a planet with such advanced technology as Earth.

The Chitauri have a terrible reputation as infamous cosmic locusts.

Ronan gazed at the star map, lost in thought.

"Carol is capable of repelling the Chitauri, without a doubt. It was Carol who stopped the invasion back then. Once we deal with Carol, this troublesome person, Earth will be no threat."

Compared to the Kree, who have already waged space war, Ronan believes that Earth's technology is only at the level of land warfare, while the Kree are already pressing in with air power.

"The Cosmic Orb, I am determined to have it."

……

"What exactly is inside this cosmic orb?" Star-Lord and his group wondered curiously in the laboratory.

Having personally experienced the game and received reports from Xandar, the Bank Guard members have agreed to sell the Cosmic Orb to Fuyou, with everyone agreeing except for Drax, who is indifferent to the matter.

But even though they were selling it, they were still a little curious about what it was.

Fuyou also wanted to try to properly store the Infinity Stones, so he dragged Tony, who was still grinding in the game, out to open the chest.
