Chapter 119 Dream
Chapter 119 Dream
Two hours ago, Whimsicott sneaked out of the manor gate, glanced back furtively to make sure the other Pokémon in the manor were working diligently and hadn't noticed him, and then quickly slipped away.
It had already informed the tropical dragon leader that it wasn't feeling well today and wouldn't be participating in the field work.
The wind sprite pulled the flyer out from behind its back, its eyes filled with anticipation.
I must join the Fat Koopa Guild and become a member, exploring the ancient ruins!
Not far behind Whimsicott, hidden under Kirlia's Invisibility Cloak, Swablu flapped its wings with great effort.
Unfortunately, the clothes severely hindered its flight; if it tried to fly, the clothes could slip off at any moment.
That would expose us!
There was no other way; it could only use its two short legs to run desperately, chasing after the wind sprite.
It's so difficult; getting firsthand materials is incredibly hard work.
It was running with its newly bought cell phone hanging around its neck, panting heavily.
Just as the Wren ran past a bush, a large-tailed pheasant poked its head out of the grass and looked curiously at the Wren under its cloak of invisibility.
Tilting its head, it seemed curious as to why the blue cotton bird didn't fly but walked.
Then, as if it understood something, it showed a happy expression, its eyes narrowed into crescents, and its whole body emitted a burst of white light.
"miu~"
The white light dissipated, and the large tail that had just been standing transformed into a Pikachu.
Then, mimicking the way a cotton bird runs, it puts its two little claws behind its back and starts running like a clattering airplane, chasing after it from afar.
The location of the Wigglypuff Guild was not far away. After navigating a series of winding paths, just when the Swablu was about to collapse from exhaustion, the Whimsicott finally stopped ahead.
The building in front of us looked very simple. I don’t know what material was used to make the upper half of Fatdog’s face, with its mouth wide open.
The mouth is the entrance, and the two front teeth form the two doors of the cave.
This doesn't look like a respectable place!
Seeing the wind sprite about to go inside, the blue cotton bird almost couldn't help but run up and question it about what it was doing in such a place. In the end, it calmed down and continued to observe.
The wind sprite mustered its courage and walked forward, intending to knock on the door.
The ground at the entrance was covered with a net woven from vines. Just as the wind sprite stepped onto the net, a voice came from somewhere.
"Oh~ We have a guest! Who is it? Let me see the footprints. It's a wind sprite. Please come in~"
boom!
Fatcat's two front teeth rose upwards, revealing a passage.
Wow! What a novel way to enter!
The wind sprite went inside and disappeared through the gate.
boom!
The door closed again.
The blue cotton bird, trapped outside, panicked and ran to the gate, stretching out its little claws to try and pry it open, but the gate wouldn't budge.
Done!
I'm locked out! What am I going to do?!
If I remove the invisibility cloak and walk onto that net, just like the wind sprite did, I should be able to get in.
But doing so would expose one's presence and defeat the purpose of taking secret photos.
As it was pondering this, it saw a Pikachu running towards it from afar.
Whether it was its imagination or not, the Pikachu seemed to be looking in its direction with a puzzled expression.
Did I expose myself?
That's impossible! I'm wearing an invisibility cloak!
A mere Pikachu, though as numerous as stray dogs on the street, doesn't have the same keen sense of smell as dog Pokémon like Growlithe, so it probably wouldn't be able to detect itself.
Fortunately, the Pikachu seemed to only glance at it casually before quickly looking away and running to the grid at the doorway.
"Oh~ another guest! Who are you? Hmm, those footprints... Pikachu! Please come in!"
boom!
The door opened again.
God helps me too!
This time, the Swaboon did not hesitate and quickly followed Pikachu into the cave.
The cave passage winds downwards and is not wide; it would be quite difficult for a large Pokémon to enter.
Soon, light appeared before them, revealing a hidden world beneath the cave!
A spacious hall with a blackboard hanging on the right, covered with order forms.
On the left, a naughty frog sits listlessly.
The hall was bustling with activity. Besides the Whimsicott and Pikachu that had just entered, there was also a Tank Skunk, Zubat, and Koffing. Judging from their group standing together, they must be a team.
On the other side was a hoodoo mushroom, which seemed to be arguing with the tank skunks.
"You said you're from Xishan, where there's a legendary manor. I heard that many years ago, a giant dragon lived there!" the Tank Skunk said excitedly, as if it had seen it with its own eyes.
The straw mushroom laughed; it didn't believe it.
It had dealt with that despicable human several times. The first time, it chased the human so hard that it had to hide. The second time, the human led a large army to attack it. The third time, it infiltrated the human's manor. If there really was a dragon in that manor, how come it didn't see it?
The supersonic bat next to it chimed in, "Yes, my ancestors said it was a giant black dragon, very majestic."
"What, you don't believe me? Are you questioning our Poison Rose Expedition Team?!"
Just then, a noisy bird flew in.
"Ahem! I'm the secretary of the Fat Koopa Guild! Please keep quiet!"
Upon hearing that the other person was a secretary, everyone immediately fell silent.
"Thank you all for your trust in our guild. We are glad to see so many Pokémon willing to come. However, I must remind you that we only accept wild Pokémon here and do not want them to be disturbed by humans. Therefore, we do not accept those that have already been caught by humans. If you are a human Pokémon, please leave."
A few drops of cold sweat seeped from the wind sprite's back, but it didn't want to go out, so it continued to play dumb.
OK OK.
The Blue Cottonbird captured this scene on camera, already planning how it would complain about the Wind Fairy to the Ark.
Traitor! This is a betrayal of the manor!
"Good, that's good. Do you already have a team?"
The three Pokémon that had just been there stepped forward with proud expressions. "We are a team called the Poison Rose Expedition Team."
The chatterbox looked at the three Pokémon. "So, Breloom, Whimsicott, and Pikachu, you're all single, right? That's perfect! From today onwards, you'll form an expedition team!"
The three Pokémon looked at each other in bewilderment.
Breloom doesn't care. Although it has no friends, it is very confident in its own strength. As long as the remaining two Pokémon don't hold it back, it's fine.
"In addition, I would like to clarify one more thing: the Pokémon Expedition League only allocated one spot to our Jigglypuff Guild this time, so we can only accept one expedition team."
"This means that other expeditions will have to act as apprentices for now, doing menial tasks like serving tea and water, and will be accepted next time."
The atmosphere below immediately became tense after the chattering bird uttered those words.
"That goes without saying, they'll definitely take over our Poison Rose Expedition Team! The other team, a newly formed expedition team that doesn't even have a name yet, should probably wait and see!"
The chattering bird seemed to have been prepared, ignoring the tank skunk's trash talk.
"So you must undergo a test. We've set up a Wiggly Apple Maze, with a delicious, perfect apple at the end. Whoever can bring the apple back will become a member of the guild's expedition team!"
