Chapter 191 - 191: I Love This Feeling
Chapter 191 - 191: I Love This Feeling
Atlas continued killing bandits that littered the hidden city and were perched on the top of the castle where the leader hid. While there, he decided to use the Shadow Stalkers from the Blackthorne Hill Dungeon.
He activated Dungeon Conquerer and summoned eight creepy shadow monsters to appear around him. The creatures bowed in his direction, but Atlas spoke in a commanding voice, ''Kill any reinforcements that come. I will butcher the ones in the city.''
The monsters agreed before they all vanished, and he cast Void Infusion on his blades while leaping from the roof. Atlas cast Void Step to appear in the middle of a group of large men who reminded him of Berserkers.
'Here we go! Let's hit them with a Void Wave.'
Without mercy, he started jumping around like a hyperactive rabbit while slicing through the men's flesh. Atlas brought them to the ground like falling trees thanks to his sudden attacks, giving him the advantage in the current fight.
Atlas quickly lunged forward. He thrust his blade through the bandit's skulls, causing the experience to flow into his body, which made him smile. Following that, screams echoed throughout the hidden city.
'Looks like the Shadow Stalkers are attacking.'
Following this, he continued hunting the bandits before casting several Void Bullets and Void Arrows that sliced through the air, piercing their bodies. They all dropped dead, allowing Atlas to level up as he heard the internal click.
'I love this feeling!'
The battle continued until Atlas fled into the shadows when dozens of bandits tried swarming him. He vanished into the city while the outlaws started
The sudden appearance of a dark figure silenced their laughter. With a quick motion, Atlas drew his blade, its edge shimmering with azure mana. He struck each movement that only got faster, thanks to his excitement.
'I may rank up after this fight.'
Atlas watched as the first bandit fell with a muffled gasp, his throat sliced cleanly. Before the others could react, he was already in motion, his blade a blur of shadow and steel. The scum scrambled, their cries of alarm echoing through the streets.
He remained a phantom, appearing and disappearing with the ease of smoke, his strikes both efficient and ruthless. He cut down one after another, leaving only the dead and the terrified in his wake.
As the last bandits fell, Atlas slipped back into the darkness, his figure swallowed by the night. He watched from a hidden vantage point as the remaining bandits, now panicking, frantically tried to regroup.
Following that, Atlas started killing them by ambushing the group from alleyways or dark corners. While he was doing this, his Shadow Stalkers were scaring the other bandits, which caused chaos in the city.
The battle went on for hours, and Atlas only got caught out in the open a few times, but thanks to Nala, who slaughtered them without mercy, the survivors rushed toward the castle in the city center.
Atlas was happy with the outcome and followed the fleeing pirates as he ran along the rooftops, using Void Step to keep up with them. When he arrived in front of the castle, he grinned before spamming Void Bombs that arched through the air.
When the spells hit the castle, explosions erupted, shaking the defensive shield, Atlas smiled when he saw this and continued casting his magic, cracking the barrier, which excited the Shadow Stalkers.
Once that was done, Atlas downed a few mana potions before summoning a dozen Landsharks that dug under the castle walls and appeared in the courtyard, catching the humans off guard.
He jumped on a freshly summoned shark before it dived underground and swam through the earth, and when passing the wall, it burst from the ground while biting a pirate in half as Atlas cast several Void Bullets that peppered another four bandits.
His blade, infused with Void Energy, slashed through the air with a deadly grace. The first enemy fell without a sound; his throat cut cleanly. Before the remaining three could react, Atlas was already among them, his strikes a blur of shadow and steel.
Their screams were muffled, quickly swallowed by the darkness. As the last group collapsed, he leaped back into the shadows, blending seamlessly with the night. Below, chaos reigned as the survivors scrambled to regroup.
Atlas smirked, savoring the terror he'd sown. He watched the remaining desperate and disorganized bandits run toward the castle from his spot. His lips curled into a grin as he thought, 'This is fun. When I fight the boss, he will be tired and worn out, allowing me to kill him easily.'
Following that, Atlas backed off and watched as the castle fell into chaos, and the remaining Landsharks killed some of them before falling to the cannon fire that erupted for the walls.
