Chapter 332 The Seventeenth Seal
Chapter 332 The Seventeenth Seal
"We are going out already, huh....." A bitter smile graced his lips. "I would have liked to breakthrough the seventeenth seal first before we travel again."
Lu Zhen thought in his heart; he could sense it while he had broken half the seventeenth seal.
He had been able to glimpse at the seal and immediately knew that there was something, something special about this seal that differed from all the other seals that he has reverse engineered till now.
"What could it be?" he thought in his heart with some confusion; all the seals he had opened till now only contained arithmetics, complex mathematics that could be used to circulate his Qi and manipulate the nature of the world.
This was the peak utilisation of a martial artist, Qi; the combat art all paled in comparison to it.
Even the wizards who control Mana and have the power to freely twist nature itself couldn't produce such an effect, from what Lu Zhen knew of it.
This was why it was incredibly complex; you need to know the gravity, the wind, the temperature, and even his body's position. Also, the Qi should be perfectly aligned; the conditions were vast and rigorous.
If it was a person other than Lu Zhen, then it would likely be impossible for them to even have the capability to use these formulas instantaneously.
All the conditions must be perfect.
"Maybe those mages in the previous era could do it." Lu Zhen muttered with a deep gaze.
They already were extinct, and those old monsters who could live till now were on the verge of dying simply because the main and key function to exist—the source of all their power, Mana—was no longer available for them.
As he was thinking of this, Lu Zhen already walked out of the camp and was greeted by the chatter of people.
The warm morning graced the earth, and everyone was busy doing their own little things.
Some were packing up the tents while some were preparing the horses; of course those who did it were all the beggars, as for the soldiers; they looked stern and were commanding these groups of people.
Lu Zhen silently and expressionlessly moved towards the main carriage.
"Is that...!?" one of the beggars grasped with shock and horror written in his face.
"Shh, don't talk." He was immediately stopped by the people around him.
"Bastard."
The second-stage martial artist looked at Lu Zhen and gritted his teeth; his fist tightened under his hidden sleeves, but he didn't speak or didn't dare to speak.
Silently, Lu Zhen walked up to the guards that were guarding the main camp.
"You... You cannot go inside," the two guards said with somewhat of a flustered expression.
"Who is spying again?" A large shout came from inside the carriage again.
"Why does this woman always speak nonsense?" Lu Zhen frowned as he looked at the carriage, casually shrugging his shoulders and continuing to observe this mist slowly.
He has dabbled in alchemy before, and his mind was more attuned towards alchemy; naturally, he was filled with fascination just from sensing this mist.
"This mist is made by the use of a pill." Lu Zhen could sense the intent hidden underneath the surface of this mist, which is definitely its working principle.
Without knowing intent, it was impossible to make a pill, and even if you have the ability to become an alchemist, you can only make paste, which had minimal effects, barely potent enough for third-stage martial art.
"This bastard..." Jui Luli tightened her fist; she wanted to stand up and beat the hell out of this burly, arrogant bastard but got too lazy...
"Forget it; it wouldn't cause him to guard the place as well if someone attacks."
Just like they travelled and travelled in a monotonous direction and with only green insight.
"How long do we have to go till we walk out of this forest?" Lu Zhen casually asked.
"It... should be around a week."
"That long?" Lu Zhen raised his eyebrows; although he described it as travelling at slow speed, they were actually travelling at the speed of an average plane in his previous world.
A week straight on an average plane would be enough to circle the whole world in his previous life.
"This just shows how vast the world is." Lu Zhen muttered bitterly in his heart while still sensing the mist and carefully analysing it.
At this time, he sensed something missing...
"The mist is waning." Lu Zhen muttered; he jumped out of his horse and casually picked up a stone and threw it.
Bang!
The air trembled as the void distorted, and the stone squarely landed on a large, giant tree, knocking it over.
"Come out; I know you are there." Lu Zhen spoke with a deep gaze.
Shadows started to gather, slowly forming a man dressed in black.
"How did you know!?"
"Jui Luli, there is an enemy; you take care of it." Lu Zhen lightly glanced at the man and left the place, entering the second most luxurious carriage.
