Chapter 57

The sudden cheerful voice from inside the room made Junyoung blink. As her gaze shifted back to Seungwoon, she saw him freeze as if turned to stone. At that moment, she began to understand why he was so flustered.

Junyoung glanced down at the envelope in her hand. Since returning from studying abroad, Seungwoon hadn’t had any serious romantic relationships—at least none that she knew of. And given the rumors about him and Jang Sera that had been circulating recently, it seemed highly unlikely that he’d start seeing someone now, especially a woman he usually avoided.

More importantly, the fact that Manager Kim had specifically instructed her to deliver this envelope at this exact time struck her as odd.

“Unless it’s Jang Sera, I couldn’t care less,” she said softly, her eyes fixed on his flustered expression.

“If it is, then congratulations. Here’s what I was told to deliver, Team Leader.”

Handing over the envelope, Junyoung turned and began walking away, only to have Seungwoon rush after her and grab her wrist.

“Junyoung, wait. Just hear me out!”
