Chapter 48: Back to The Greco Realm

Island of Crete

"We are being surrounded by the god King and his brothers together with their forces and we are just going to sit here like it’s nothing? They are attacking us for crying out loud"

Cynosura, the Nymph who was so against trusting Lucifer which didn’t fair well for her said as she looked at Adamantheia who was just as calm as a calm ocean.

It has been almost an hour now since Chronos, the god King arrived on the entrance of the island and demand they out Rhea and his children or tell them where they can be found if they were not here or else he would raze their island to the ground.

But Adamantheia didn’t even say anything and just sat on her throne as she created a projection of what was going on outside watching as Chronos and his brothers try to break the impenetrable shield that surrounded the island thanks to the tree that was planted here long ago.

Adamantheia looked at Cynosura and sighed, she just like to complain about little things and it is getting on her nerve "will just shut up for once? Don’t you know that a shield was erected the moment that tree matured and nobody can pass through that shield unless I allow it and nothing can destroy that shield as long as it stands.

So I see no reason to panicked, instead they should be, they are going disturb her with their noise and we would see what would happen to them" she said while thinking of a certain Phoenix woman who was meditating at the forbidden area of the Island, where the tree is planted.

"But what if the truly impenetrable shield was destroyed, what are we going to do then? Wait for our death" said Cynosura who would not her hope on some stupid shield.

Adamantheia sighed once again as she knew Cynosura was a lost cause and there is nothing she can do about it until she sees it for herself.

Outside the Island

Chronos could be seen floating in the air as he stares down at the Island.

He was furious that someone under his rule dares to challenge him. It is like he has now become a joke to everyone recently and nobody takes him seriously and it all started because of that stupid son of his, he should have killed them all the moment they were born, now they all pain in his ass, including his mother and wife.

But he would not let them have their way, he is Chronos, the god King of the Greco Realm and nobody, not even his mother can end his reign.

"We have not been able to even leave a scratch on that invisible shield, instead it seems to be getting stronger and stronger every time we rain attacks on it brother, I think we should just give it up and find other ways to get to them" said Oceanus who could see that this is all a fruitless endeavor and a waste of their time.

"I highly doubt that, I don’t believe that, that shield can not be destroyed, maybe we are not just hitting it with enough power or there is something we are overlooking, like a weak point in the shield" said Coeus who also came to the side of Chronos.@@@@

Oceanus looked at Coeus and knew what the bastard was up to, trying to win Chronos’s trust and later use it against him and this is what Chronos would like to hear at times like this because he just wants to look for his children and get it over with. So he would listen to what is going to help him achieve that easily even if it is a lost cause.

Chronos looked between Coeus and Oceanus "Coeus is right, we are not just hitting the right places and with enough power" he said as he looked at Oceanus "tell those lesser gods to stand aside, the titans are going to take it from here"

Adamantheia said before she turned around and left Chronos who was clenching his fist in anger.

Even a mere Nymph is talking to him this way, is that how he has been looked down upon.

"HOW DARE YOU"

He shouted at the top of his lungs making the lands quake, the air became violent and the oceans and the seas went into rage telling everyone in the Greco Realm that the god King is very, Very Mad.

"Calm Down, we have to leave right now, we don’t want to mess with the Devil, brother" said Hyperion.

Before Coeus could persuade Chronos to not listen to Hyperion, he got the I dare you look from Oceanus making him take a step back.

Chronos reluctantly left with his forces and sent someone to tell Iapetus to forget about getting Atlas as they could not get anything from here anymore and he was now sure that, Rhea and his children are not here.

Meanwhile, Adamantheia saw all of these and smiled "knew he will fall for it"

Mt. Olympus

Four figures appeared on Mt. Olympus and looked around and found out that it was weirdly quiet.

They are Lucifer, Aphrodite, Bariel and Tiānkōng.

Lucifer closed his eyes as he felt the life force of people on the mountain.

"I guess we came to a deserted part of the mountain"

Lucifer said as he led them to where the others were when he felt a presence flying at their direction with extreme speed.

"She came really fast"

As Lucifer said this, the group saw a giant burning bird appeared in the sky and slowed down as it got closed to them.

The bird transformed to human and landed when she finally got closed to Lucifer with her head bowed "welcome, Master"
