Chapter 231: A New Beginning
Chapter 231: A New Beginning
The aftermath of the Omniverse’s creation ushered in an era of unprecedented harmony and potential. Divine beings settled back into their celestial planes, each embracing their roles with renewed purpose. Among them was Lucifer, who now stood at the precipice of the God Plane, his essence a harmonious blend of newfound serenity and ancient power.
Accompanying him were his wives, each representing different cosmic forces, their presence a testament to the deep bonds forged through eons of existence and conflict.
Khaos, the embodiment of primordial chaos, had taken her place as Lucifer’s first wife. Her once untamed and unpredictable energy now radiated a focused intensity, reflecting the delicate balance between creation and destruction. Lucifer’s other wives, each an embodiment of various cosmic forces, gathered around, their eyes reflecting the myriad stars of the Omniverse.
In the midst of this cosmic order, Sun Wukong, the Monkey King, was causing a stir throughout the divine realms.
Known for his irrepressible spirit and boundless energy, Wukong’s audacious escapades and indomitable will had earned him the title of the "Great Sage, Equal to Heaven." His presence was a source of both disruption and inspiration, and for Lucifer, he was a rare and genuine friend in the politically charged and tumultuous God Plane.
Lucifer found Wukong’s irreverent humor and audacious courage refreshing. Despite Wukong’s reputation for mischief, there was a deep mutual respect between them—a bond forged through shared experiences and a common desire for true freedom. Their conversations, filled with philosophical debates and humorous banter, often took place in the serene groves of the God Plane.
Meanwhile, in the Greco Realm, the tumultuous relationship between Zeus and Hera had reached a new boiling point. Hera, the Queen of the Gods, had discovered the extent of Zeus’s infidelities on Earth. The Great Purging, intended to cleanse the mortal realm of divine influence, had inadvertently exposed Zeus’s numerous affairs and the countless demi-god children he had fathered.
Hera’s fury was a force of nature, her rage a storm that swept through the celestial halls. "How dare you!" she screamed, her voice shaking the very foundations of the God Plane. "How many more secrets have you hidden from me? How many more children have you sired?"
Gabriel met Ares’s gaze with a calm, steady resolve. "We are not abandoning them. We are guiding them in a different way. Through dreams, visions, and signs, we can inspire and lead without dictating their every move. Humanity must learn to stand on its own."
Zeus, having temporarily set aside his personal turmoil, nodded in agreement. "Gabriel is right. We have meddled too much, and it has stunted their growth. Let us step back and observe, and intervene only when absolutely necessary." Continue reading at novelhall.Côm
The assembly reluctantly agreed, understanding the wisdom in Gabriel’s words. The gods would continue to influence the mortal realm, but their methods would change. They would act through intermediaries, through chosen individuals who could act as their spokespersons and convey their will without direct interference.
In the days that followed, the gods began to adapt to their new roles. They selected mortal champions and prophets, individuals who possessed the wisdom, strength, and purity of heart to serve as conduits for divine will. These chosen ones became the bridges between the divine and mortal realms, guiding humanity while allowing them to chart their own course.
Lucifer watched these developments with a sense of satisfaction. The balance they had strived for in the creation of the Omniverse was beginning to take hold, even in the mortal realm. The gods were learning to trust in humanity’s potential, to allow them to grow and evolve on their own terms.
One evening, as he sat with Khaos and his other wives in the serene gardens of their celestial palace, Lucifer reflected on the changes that were unfolding. Khaos, sensing his thoughts, placed a gentle hand on his arm. "Do you think they will thrive?" she asked softly.
Lucifer nodded, his gaze thoughtful but before he could continue, an intense light engulfed him and the next thing he knew he was in an unfamiliar face with a young boy with blue eyes looking at him.
"Bloody Hell"
That was all Lucifer could say.
