Chapter 147: Lilith, Nyx And Athena

"You are going to need more than that"

With a confident stride, a woman stepped forward from the shadows, her presence commanding attention. Her gaze, sharp and unwavering, bore into Lilith as she addressed him with a voice that brooked no argument.

"You’re going to need more than that," she declared, her tone laced with authority.

As she spoke, a crackling energy surrounded her, illuminating her form with a radiant glow. Her stance was poised, exuding an air of undeniable power and determination.@@@@

Lilith regarded her with a mixture of curiosity and caution, recognizing the strength and conviction in her demeanor. It was clear that she was not to be underestimated.

"Who the hell are you?" Lilith demanded, her eyebrows raised in defiance. Despite the sense of dread emanating from the newcomer, she refused to show any sign of fear. After all, as the wife of Lucifer – the first one, to be exact – she doubted anyone would dare to lay a hand on her.

"I am Nyx, the Primordial Goddess of the Night, and also a wife of Lucifer, the Devil. So when I say you need more than the little Phoenix, I mean it," Nyx declared, her words sending shockwaves through the assembled gods. Discover hidden stories at novelhall.Côm

Confusion rippled through their ranks as they struggled to reconcile this new revelation. They remembered Lucifer’s four wives, but Nyx’s claim threw everything into disarray.

The gods exchanged uncertain glances, uncertain of how to respond to this unexpected development. If Nyx truly was a wife of Lucifer, it would change everything – including their perceptions of Lilith and the events that had unfolded.

"Hahahahahahaha"

Lilith’s laughter echoed through the divine realm as she listened to Nyx’s claim, her amusement evident in the glint of her eyes. However, as the laughter subsided, she fixed Nyx with a steely gaze.

Athena hesitated for a moment before responding, "I did not know its significance until today, but it marks her as a wife of Lucifer." She pointed to the back of Lilith’s hand, where the mark was visible.

Zeus’s brow furrowed in anger as he realized the implications of the mark. His aura crackled with intensity as he glared at Lilith, his displeasure evident.

Nyx, too, grasped the gravity of the situation. She sighed heavily, her expression resigned as she regarded Lilith, who wore a smug smirk.

It dawned on Nyx that Lilith had seen through her bluff earlier because of the mark. It was a symbol of legitimacy, a sign that Lilith was indeed connected to Lucifer in a significant way.

As the realization settled over her, Nyx’s demeanor softened slightly. Despite her initial skepticism, she couldn’t deny the truth of Lilith’s claim. The mark was irrefutable evidence of her connection to Lucifer, and Nyx knew better than to challenge it.

With a sigh, Nyx turned Zeus, the Supreme Ruler of the Greco Realm, her voice tinged with resignation. "It seems we have no choice but to allow her entry," she conceded.

Zeus’s expression softened slightly as he regarded Nyx, his anger dissipating. "Very well," he conceded, his voice gruff. "But tread carefully, daughter. We do not yet know the extent of this woman’s intentions."

Nyx nodded in agreement, her mind already whirling with plans and strategies.

Turning back to Lilith, Nyx addressed her with a steely resolve. "You may enter," she declared, her voice firm. "But know that we will be watching closely. Any misstep, and you will face the consequences even if you are the wife of the Devil."

Lilith merely smirked in response, her confidence unshaken. With a nod of acknowledgment, she strode forward, her gaze fixed on the realm beyond.

As she crossed the threshold into the divine plane, Nyx couldn’t help but feel a sense of foreboding. The presence of Lucifer’s wife would undoubtedly complicate matters, and Nyx knew they were in for a tumultuous journey ahead.
