Chapter 430 430. Orion Darkwood is Dead
Chapter 430 430. Orion Darkwood is Dead
The cadets were trembling in fear as they heard the continuous sounds of blasts since the war began. They had been preparing for this very moment since they were children, but they were helpless against the mass attacks from the warships of other races.
Fortunately, the other races hadn't sent anyone to specifically attack the academy or any other locations—only warships were deployed for the time being.
BOOM!
Suddenly, the entire place trembled, causing the cadets to lose their balance and fall.
"What was that?" Erza asked, looking around.
Mark frowned. "Probably one of the attacks from the warships hit the academy, but the protection barrier helped us block it."
BOOM!
Another attack hit the academy, but once again, the protection barrier successfully blocked it.
"Damn! At this rate, there's nothing we can do," Zeref said in frustration.
"Don't complain," Mark said. "It's at least better than being attacked by a barrage of demons, angels, and celestials."
Mark added, "Though I'm pretty sure they're just testing humans with these warship attacks since they haven't sent any individuals yet. It won't be long before they do, though. We just have to be prepared when that happens."
Zeref, Tracy, and Erza nodded. They understood that this situation was preferable, even if they felt useless here. If the demons, celestials, and angels attacked directly, there would be dire consequences. People would die if that happened.

"The seven demon kings?" Elijah sighed and smiled wryly. "We only have the so-called Ten Seats, the strongest of the human race, to protect us. Meanwhile, the Demon race has the Seven Demon Kings, the Angel race has the Five Archangels, and the Celestial race has the Six Eternals. It seems we're bound to lose this war."
"Don't lose hope so soon," Josh said. "We have plenty of Ten Seat-level candidates in the human race whose strength may even rival the Ten Seats. There's Kane, all the old masters from the Seven Super Families of the Archons, the head of the Hunter Association, Archons, and Martial Will. Any of them have the strength to go toe-to-toe with the Ten Seats, so I believe we won't lose this war—not without a fight, at least."
Elijah sneered. "Did you forget about the so-called Zenithans and demons using human bodies to infiltrate the Limitless Void? All of this has probably been orchestrated by the one called Boros, and he and his army aren't even here yet. I'm sure the other races are here just for fun. They don't care what happens to us humans. As long as they can kill us and weaken our power, they'll be happy with the result."
"Shut up!" Josh shouted. "Why are you talking negatively all of a sudden? We have to hope we'll win. This is war, Elijah—get your mind straight."
Elijah shook his head. He was only saying what no one else would say, and it was a hundred percent true.
"Sorry, we're a little late," Killian's voice sounded as the group of new advisors arrived.
"What took you guys so long?" Josh asked, visibly irritated.
Frey smiled. "We were celebrating."
"Celebrating?" Josh almost lost his temper. "Are you out of your mind?"
Killian laughed and said, "Orion Darkwood is dead, and we were celebrating the news."
