Chapter 25 Albania Acknowledges Your Existence
Chapter 25 Albania Acknowledges Your Existence
"Semi, I can only walk here by myself. You wait for me here. Keep this locator safe so I don't get lost."
Their travel speed was getting slower and slower. As they approached the inner circle of the Beast King's territory, the surrounding animals became increasingly hostile towards Semi, and some even began to attack them out of their minds. Keeping him inside the protective shield was the best option. Emeric, by transforming into an Animagus, could travel faster and was safer.
"I'll be back by noon tomorrow at the latest. Don't leave the tent before then."
"Young master, please be careful."
A large, horned, assembled cat appeared in the forest. It transformed into an animal and ran at full speed, much faster than a human could walk, jumping or climbing over any obstacles it encountered.
The dense foliage blocked most of the sunlight, leaving only dappled light scattered on the ground. A huge cat's paw stepped on these dappled lights, hopping and skipping along, occasionally stopping to scratch the grass, then leaping up to grab fruit and leaves from the trees, until it stopped in an open space. It looked at the black soil and felt very sad.
"Human, why do I want to get close to you? Humans are not welcome here." The giant lion knew that a messenger had come to its territory, and he sat on a tree stump at the edge of the clearing, waiting for the human.
"I want to exchange information with you. Do you know when that venomous snake disappeared? Did it go with a human? I need to find that snake."
"Human, tell me, what is your reason for wanting to find that snake?"
"I want to kill him. That snake is my enemy. He makes my lover's life miserable."
The giant lion stared into Emeric's eyes and saw the murderous intent that flashed in them. It agreed with his reasoning: humans would always do things for love that were hard for lions to understand.
"Before the snake disappeared, its body was covered in rotting flesh. A vulture tried to eat it but was killed. Later, the snake ate more and more. The animals often migrated to survive. A few days after the great migration, the snake disappeared. The ants that were hiding told me that the snake followed the humans, and a head appeared behind the human." The lion told Emeric about the bloodshed of that time. Many carnivores starved to death because they couldn't catch prey, and herbivores died from exhaustion from constantly migrating. Nearly a third of the animals in the entire forest died.
"I'm sorry, it's humanity's fault, this is humanity's sin, and nature will punish them." The divinity in his blood made him very uncomfortable, and he apologized to the forest here.
Emeric bowed his head, pressed his horns to the ground, and recklessly channeled magic into the earth. He was now in the eye of the storm, and he had discovered that the plants and animals along the way had deliberately led him here, but he only now knew why.
Green shoots sprout from the barren, even dark, land. Grass grows, unfolds, and blossoms. Vines climb up tree trunks in circles, and broken branches begin to grow new shoots. It is a natural revival that would normally take years to repair.
Emeric's once life-sized body shrank, and in no time he became a kitten. The giant lion bowed to the kitten, grateful for his sacrifice. They had only wanted humans to admit their mistakes and apologize to nature, but they hadn't expected the humans they brought to be willing to use their magic to fix the error.
A force surged from the earth toward Emerick, and tiny white flowers bloomed on the kitten's horns. Suddenly, he heard an ethereal voice.
"Albania acknowledges your existence and is willing to follow you."
Emeric uncontrollably transformed into a human. His hair began to grow wildly, his human-shaped horns grew and blossomed, and a crown woven from vines appeared on his flaxen hair. The vines wrapped around the antlers and climbed upwards, his hair hanging down to the ground. A touch of divinity appeared on his exquisite face. He heard the cheers of the plants in his ears, and his tightly closed eyes opened, a green glint flashing in his smoky purple eyes.
As the long-sealed memories of his heritage are unlocked, Emeric discovers that he has an extra memory, a memory that lies at the bottom and will only surface when needed.
"Thank you for your recognition. The murderer will be punished."
Emeric made a promise to Albania, adding another reason for him to kill Voldemort.
Far away in Paris, Calvin suddenly stopped and looked towards Albania. "Ambrose, Eli's responsibilities are even heavier now. Our child may have to suffer more," he murmured to himself. The man beside him heard him and comforted him, "Darling, it's alright. When we get back from the trip, Aldrickson will need to get moving. We won't let Eli bear all this alone. We're not too old to work."
(Aldrickson possesses powerful vitality. He is a descendant of a divine beast. The bloodline formed by Silas and Aldrickson can heal nature. He is not a god, but once recognized, he can use the power of divine blood.)

"Semi, I'm back."
Emeric bid farewell to the giant lion and hurried back. When he was fully awake, he found that there was not much time left before the appointed time. The sudden weight of his horns caused him to stumble as he walked, but fortunately he made it in time.
"Snap"
Emeric fell to the ground again. He was used to it; he had fallen countless times on the way back. His hair, which reached the ground, was braided into a plait, and he didn't want to step on it.
"Young Master, what did you eat out of curiosity this time?"
"It's not my fault, I didn't eat anything indiscriminately. Didn't you notice my hair is too long? My head feels heavy and I'm not used to walking. Anyway, let's go. I only took a week off, and there are only three days left."
Semi had no idea when her young master had become so fond of studying, but he had indeed been staying home for too long. The house was probably in an uproar because of those mischievous monkeys, so she needed to hurry home.
The two agreed that there was no need for either of them to rest. After Emeric got used to the weight on his head from the falls, he traveled even faster.
It took three days to get in, two and a half days to get out, plus a 10-hour flight, and Emeric finally arrived at the gates of Hogwarts in the middle of the night.
The long journey and flight had left him extremely tired. He lay down on the bed and slept straight until the next day, when Fu Fu woke him up. Still half asleep, he walked to the potions classroom, pinched his nose, and drank a bottle of energy potion.
Today is Monday, and the first class is Potions. He can ask to skip other classes, but he has ulterior motives for Potions, so it's impossible for him to skip it.
"Mr. Thaddeus, come to the cellar after dinner to finish the homework you did during your leave of absence."
"Okay, Professor."
In front of their classmates, he and Severus still addressed each other formally. Severus did not want other students to distance themselves from Emeric because of him, so he asked Emeric not to call him by his given name when others were around.
