Chapter 21 Long Time No See
Chapter 21 Long Time No See
The express train wasn't particularly fast; at least after it started moving, Owen felt it wasn't as fast as he could fly.
"Oh my God, my Lefebvre, my Lefebvre is gone!"
Neville hadn't thought of it at first, until Molly woke up in the little wizard's arms and jumped onto the table to eat. Only then did he remember that he also had a pet. But after looking around and finding that it was gone, he started to panic.
"Don't worry, Neville, Rafer is definitely on the train. Let's go look for him!"
The little witch hurriedly pulled the chubby boy out, before Owen could even raise his hand...
"Actually, I can use the Summoning Spell..." Owen shifted his gaze to Molly beside him. "Maybe it's because of you that she's feeling a bit pressured?"
Molly: "Meow!"
Owen slapped his forehead: "Okay, I did forget. Hermione didn't know anything about Level 5X magical creatures before, but she's read so many books this holiday, she should know what Level 5X is now."
……
Neville was puzzled; he sensed that Hermione seemed afraid.
"My God, Neville, do you know what? That thing that jumped onto the table wasn't a cat, it was a cat-leopard, a level 5X magical creature! Do you know what level 5X means?"
Just as Neville was about to speak, Hermione continued, "That's a magical creature on par with dragons, an extremely dangerous one!"
Well, it seems I don't need to answer. Neville followed behind Hermione, searching for his pet from carriage to carriage.
Owen picked up the book again, letting Molly's head bump against his.
Molly's favorite thing to do is to snuggle up with the little wizard, because she can smell a relaxing and comfortable scent on Owen that humans can't smell—it's the magical fragrance emanating from the wizard.
"Bang!"
The carriage door was pushed open again, but instead of Hermione and Neville, three young male wizards entered. One of them, with blond hair that had turned almost white, paused for a moment when he saw Owen and Mona, then suddenly became arrogant.
"Oh my god, look, another one..."
Before he could finish speaking, the eyes of him and the two little wizards behind him turned purple. Then, the three of them turned around blankly, left the carriage, and closed the door behind them.
Owen turned his face with a smile, just in time to see the hint of purple in Molly's eyes: "Thank you, Molly, but it's not necessary. We're just new wizards, it's normal for us to have some personality."
Molly didn't say anything more, but turned her face away. However, her tail was still tightly wrapped around the little wizard's wrist, which meant: I'm angry and it will take a long time to coax me to calm down!
Owen understood perfectly, so he held the little leopard in his arms, stroking its back while reading. Before long, Molly fell asleep comfortably, and the anger she had felt earlier vanished.
"Honey, we need to buy some..."
The fat witch pushed open the carriage door, intending to sell some snacks, but when she saw the little wizard, she laughed: "Mr. Owen, so you're here. Is there anything you'd like to eat?"
"Lady Margaret..."
Irving stood up and helped the witch into the carriage. "I'd like you to rest here. I'll help you sell these snacks, is that alright?"
That's what he said, but Irving didn't stop; he pushed the bike away.
This witch had worked on this train for many, many years, and she was a close friend of Mr. Newt and one of Mrs. Tina's few confidantes. He often saw her during the three months he studied under Mr. Newt, and Owen also had a great fondness for this witch.
If we don't encounter it, that's fine; but if we do, helping out with small tasks is simply what we should do.
He ran into many acquaintances on the train, and the snacks sold out quickly. By the time he reached the last carriage, opened the door, and saw Hermione and the legendary savior, there weren't many snacks left on the train.
"Need some snacks? We have Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans, Chocolate Frog..."
In his excitement, the wealthy Harry Potter bought out the entire meal. He was so happy that he didn't notice Hermione and Neville's expressions at all. However, Owen did see them and smiled slightly: "You should eat more. I just found out that the train won't arrive at Hogwarts until dark."
After closing the door and pushing the cart back to his own compartment, Owen and Mrs. Margaret enjoyed a delicious rice bowl before parting ways. Mrs. Margaret had sold out of snacks, so her work was done. Owen then picked up Molly again and quietly began reading.
"Young wizards, please change into your robes. You can leave your luggage in the carriage; someone will take it back to your dormitories."
There were no announcements on the train, and Irving had already seen them when they were selling snacks, so these three announcements in a row were actually amplified.
Hermione and Neville returned after taking out the robes they had prepared beforehand from their pockets and putting them on. After hurriedly changing into their robes, Hermione sat there, somewhat embarrassed, and said, "Owen, I..."
"It's alright. We came to Hogwarts not only to study, but also to make friends..." As he said this, the train stopped, and Owen waved, saying, "We're here! Welcome to Hogwarts!"
Second-grade students, of course, knew how to get to school. After getting off the bus, they ran in one direction, while on the other side...
"First graders, first graders, gather here!"
Hagrid's tall stature and booming voice quickly gathered the first-year wizards together. He first gave Harry a look, then looked at Owen: "Mr. Owen, Dumbledore said that you will also be going to school from the Black Lake, but you won't be taking a boat."
Not taking a boat?
Although Irving couldn't understand it, he nodded and then floated up: "Then I'll be going now. It'll be nice to see you again, Hagrid."
Hagrid laughed too: "Yes, it's good to see you again, first-year wizards. Come with me, watch your step."
But no one listened to him anymore. The first-year wizards just watched as Owen flew away, straight as a feather.
"Why...can he fly?"
Hearing the young wizards' chatter, Hagrid simply smiled, then led them to the edge of the Black Lake, boarded a small boat, and headed towards the castle.
"haven't seen you for a long time!"
Halfway through the flight, a giant squid poked its head out. Owen waved at it, and the giant squid extended its tentacles. Owen reached out and gave it a high five, then waved goodbye.
Just like a few years ago, everything was so natural.
