Chapter 596 Finding Help
Thankfully, upon hearing that Professor McGonagall had left Hogwarts, Celen knew that she had already seen the letter he had written.
After all, Professor McGonagall is different from Dumbledore; unless there are special circumstances, she would never leave Hogwarts.
As for Dumbledore—Sirlen didn't know where he was, but given his level of attention to Harry, it's hard to say whether he was playing along, waiting for Voldemort to show himself.
Perhaps he had already found Harry and the others by the time he returned to Hogwarts.
Of course, this is just Siren's speculation. Dumbledore may also be busy with other things, which is why he wrote to Professor McGonagall in advance.
Even if Dumbledore knew nothing, Professor McGonagall would tell him before leaving the school. The two were best friends for decades, and Professor McGonagall was one of the few people who could contact Dumbledore at any time.
However, she usually wouldn't bother Dumbledore over trivial matters.
"Wait a minute, Siron, why is your robe torn?" At this moment, the sharp-eyed Fred suddenly noticed that Siron's robe had a large tear in the back, and there were several dirty spots on his body.
They looked like they had just been in a battle, and were even at a disadvantage.
But as the champion warrior of the Triwizard Tournament, who at Hogwarts, besides Professor X, could put Siron in a tough fight?
And professors would never lay a hand on students, not even the most unpopular Snape.
So, the two of them quickly came to a surprising conclusion!
"You've encountered Death Eaters?" George asked, but his tone was quite certain.
"Yes," Siron nodded, not denying it. "I just came back from Diagon Alley."
"Voldemort has attacked Diagon Alley?!" Fred's voice changed, becoming high-pitched and thin, as if he had heard some terrible news.
"No, Voldemort's target was the Ministry of Magic; I just went to Diagon Alley."
Thankfully, the Weasley brothers breathed a long sigh of relief upon learning that Diagon Alley had not been destroyed by Voldemort.
Their shop was just set up and hadn't even opened yet; they couldn't let Voldemort ruin it.
But soon they looked at Xilun angrily.
"You're really not being fair—"
"You didn't tell us about something so interesting!"
"Interesting?" Siren blinked. "This isn't a stage play; those Death Eaters—they really will use the Killing Curse on your head!"
"That's the most interesting part, isn't it?" Fred smiled, completely unconcerned.
"You'll definitely have to go back," George said. "We'll go with you!"
"Are you serious?" Sirius asked. "I'm going to the Ministry of Magic; I really will run into Voldemort there."
"Of course," Fred nodded solemnly.
"We weren't this serious when we took the NEWT test," George said.
"Okay." Xilun nodded after a moment of silence.
"When do we set off?"
"No rush," Siren said. "Before that, we need to find more help."
"Help?" George thought for a moment and asked, "Those members of S.D.A?"
"No," Siren shook his head. "I was talking about the professors."
The three then quickly located almost all the professors still at the university and told them about Voldemort's trap to lure Harry into it.
To Xilun's surprise, none of the professors questioned him; after listening to his words, they immediately responded.
Like Professor McGonagall, Professor Sprout rushed out of the greenhouse without even changing his clothes, wearing a tattered apron covered in dragon dung and mud.
Professor Sinister, who taught astronomy, followed closely behind.
And Snape, Cyrus hadn't initially intended to look for him, but he happened to run into him on the stairs when he passed by the entrance to the underground classrooms.
Fred, being quick to speak, immediately told him about Harry being tricked into going to the Ministry of Magic.
Snape's expression froze. He turned sharply to Siron, his eyes flashing with shock, confusion, and intense bewilderment. These emotions then intertwined, making his face look somewhat ferocious.
This change caught Fred and George somewhat off guard. They sensed something was wrong and quietly moved away.
"Of course, if Professor Snape doesn't believe me, then just pretend we didn't say anything."
After saying that, the two grabbed Xilun and ran away.
Snape remained standing there, making no attempt to stop him.
The three ran out of the castle and searched for Professor Flitwick by the Black Lake. Unexpectedly, on their way back, they ran into Hagrid, who had just come out of the cabin.
"Oh, how did you little ones know I was back?" Hagrid waved to them with a smile, holding something the size of a wooden barrel. "I just got back last night, less than a day ago. Come on in, I've prepared some gifts for you."
"We'll talk about it another time, Hagrid." Cyril shook his head. "Harry and the other two went to the Ministry of Magic to find Voldemort. We need to find someone to rescue him."
With a thud, the wooden barrel fell to the ground, and Hagrid's pupils dilated, as if he had been struck by lightning.
"I'm going to save him!"
Without saying a word, Hagrid immediately tried to run out of the school, but was stopped by Siren.
Professor McGonagall and the others ran out of the school in order to Apparate, but Hagrid didn't know that magic.
"You're not planning to run all the way to the Ministry of Magic from here, are you?"
Hagrid was also aware of this.
"I'm going to find Wuwu—" He wanted to run into the forbidden forest again.
U-U was the name Hagrid gave to one of the Thestrals.
Siron didn't know if Thestrals could carry the half-giant, but he stopped Hagrid again.
"That's too slow, I have a faster way."
"Come with me."
The three ran towards the castle, and Hagrid hesitated for a moment before quickly following.
"What do you want to do?" Fred asked. "Apparition?"
"Of course not, otherwise we should have run out of the school," Sirius said. "Besides, no one can Apparate with a half-giant, not even Dumbledore."
"But I have an easier way."
The three of them ran all the way to the eighth floor, to Professor McGonagall's office.
But there are already people waiting here.
"Cedric?" Siren frowned slightly.
“I was in the greenhouse when you found Professor Sprout,” Cedric stepped forward and asked. “So, that person really did come back, right?”
Xilun nodded.
Cedric flinched, but quickly regained his composure.
"I want to go with you," he said.
“There’s no need for that,” Celen said. “You’re not a professor, and you don’t need to risk your life to save three Gryffindors.”
"But I'm the president of the boys' student council," Cedric said.
"And even if you don't agree, I can go myself." He pushed open the door to the Transfiguration office behind him. "If I'm not mistaken, you're planning to use the fireplace in Professor McGonagall's office to get to the Ministry of Magic, aren't you?"
