Chapter 515 Leaving School
At six o'clock in the morning, the Gryffindor common room was empty. Siron returned from outside and sat down near the fireplace.
Since the onset of winter, this spot has become the most popular location among Gryffindor students, especially after it snows at Hogwarts. Everyone wants to sit by the warm fireplace while it snows heavily outside, playing wizard chess with friends and sipping sweet pumpkin juice, so there are people sitting here almost all the time.
But there's no need to fight over it now. Everyone played until almost midnight yesterday, and those energetic little lions are unlikely to be up now. The only ones awake besides Sirius are Harry and Ron. However, they're currently chatting in Sirius's office, with Sirius saying he's too sleepy and needs to come back for a nap.
Of course, this was just an excuse. The main reason was that he'd been there for a while and felt the conversation between Harry and Sirius was full of holes, both for Sirius and Harry, but they themselves thought it was perfectly normal. Worried he might not be able to control his expression, Sirius quickly made up an excuse to return. On the way, he stopped by the kitchen to get himself breakfast.
He couldn't go back to sleep now; given his current energy level, he probably wouldn't be able to fall asleep anyway. But there were still several hours until the Hogwarts Express's departure time, and he couldn't just wait hungry. Judging by the time, the house-elves should be ready almost immediately—
Good morning, Mr. Ollivander.
Suddenly, a whooshing sound came from the side, and then the house-elf Gulu appeared in the common room, placing a heavy silver tray on the table.
"Here is your breakfast."
"Thank you, Gulu," Siren said with a smile.
"What a noble character! Mr. Ollivander actually thanked Gollum!" The little elf clutched his large ears, looking like he was about to cry. "Gollum is so lucky to have snatched this job from more than a dozen other elves!"
"Rob?" Xilun was taken aback.
"Yeah, right." Gulu proudly fiddled with his tea towel. "It's not common to get to work extra hours like this outside of regular mealtimes, so of course we have to grab it."
Xilun glanced at the tray subconsciously, and Gulu seemed to think he was about to eat, so it disappeared again with a soft sound.
The tray was far more lavish than a normal breakfast: sandwiches with beef thicker than bread, a mountain of fried eggs that were about to fall off the plate, bacon and fried sausages, creamy onion soup, corn chips, fried potatoes, and, for some reason, a whole roasted beef leg on the tray.
Despite his best efforts, Xilun couldn't finish even a tenth of his breakfast.
It wasn't until after 7 p.m. that a second person appeared in the common room.
It was Hermione. She wanted to borrow some books from the library to pass the time on the train, but she didn't expect that Celeste had gotten up earlier than her.

"Harry had another nightmare," Siron explained, putting aside his newly finished essay on charms. "I went with him to the headmaster's office."
"What? Harry had a nightmare?"
As expected, Hermione immediately became anxious, unconsciously uttering various book titles until Siren told her that Harry was fine and was currently chatting with Sirius, at which point she breathed a sigh of relief.
But Hermione still didn't seem very happy.
"You should have told me immediately!" she said.
Xilun shrugged, indicating that it was impossible.
At Hogwarts, if a boy enters a girl's dormitory, the corridor turns into a steep ramp, causing him to fall heavily out.
This is what Fred and George told him, but whether it's true or not, Celen doesn't know, since he hasn't tried it himself.
Although Hermione was still not very happy, she accepted the explanation and turned to go to the library.
As dawn broke, the common room became increasingly crowded, with everyone carrying their own suitcases and their faces filled with longing for the holiday.
Sheren and the others went to the entrance hall to wait for the Thestrals to take them to Hogsmeade Station.
Harry and Ron also jogged back, and Sirius noticed that they were still wearing their pajamas underneath their crooked robes.
"Where's Sirius?" Sirius glanced behind the two of them, only to see Filch staring at them with a gloomy expression. Clearly, he was still brooding over Harry kicking Mrs. Lorris.
But there was a reason for this, so neither Professor McGonagall nor Dumbledore could really punish Harry.
Sirius even turned around and taught him a lesson.
If Filch hadn't been a Squib, Siron suspected he would have directly cast an Avada Kedavra curse on Harry.
"The professors have other things to do and will be staying at the school for a while longer," Harry said, looking extremely excited and completely oblivious to Filch behind him.
"Harry," Hermione said, walking over, "Sirlen said you—oh, did you really have a nightmare?"
Hermione thought Harry's face was flushed and he looked extremely excited, not like someone who had just had a nightmare, but more like someone who was going to a Quidditch match.
"That doesn't matter anymore," Harry said. "Come with me—Shillon, you have no idea what you're missing."
Harry urged the two of them to get into a carriage, then carefully closed the door.
"You probably don't know this, but Dumbledore once assembled a special team to deal with the Death Eaters, called the Order of the Phoenix, and my parents were members of it—"
Xilun pursed his lips.
In fact, the Order of the Phoenix is not a particularly mysterious organization; most wizards have actually heard of it.
Mentioning the Order of the Phoenix inevitably involves Voldemort, so although wizards know this, they rarely tell their children about it.
Like Ron, the Weasleys were once members of the Order of the Phoenix, but Ron had only ever heard of it.
Before Sirius told them those secrets, he actually knew no more than Harry.
Harry spoke with great enthusiasm, and Hermione, as the listener, was very accommodating, her expression growing increasingly surprised.
By the time they got off the carriage and boarded the train, Hermione was already bombarding Harry with questions.
Are you sure this organization really exists?
"Is it legal—I mean, does the Ministry of Magic know about this?"
"If the Order of the Phoenix is so important, why didn't Dumbledore just set up its headquarters at Hogwarts? It's definitely safer at the school than anywhere else, isn't it?"
Can I participate?
