Chapter 371: Chapter 371 – Assassin is Silent and Deadly
Tracking back where MadLad came from was pretty easy. The snow was thick enough that it left a deep trail. The rain was also over, meaning there was no new snow hiding the trail they left.
The hooded Max returned to the battlefield where they clashed. There, he found some weapons lying around. He picked up two swords, an extra axe, and a shield before continuing.
The trail headed upward, toward the forest area, opposite to the forest they passed by when they went down the mountain.
"Hmm, so they are coming from that way. I can smell my opponents." Max muttered as he followed the trail, acting like a real assassin coming to kill all Vikings.
— Is he playing an assassin?
— Damn, the way he followed the trail by stepping exactly on the footprints is neat
— Assassin Breeze in a Viking's Era, huh? This would be fun.
— Would he be able to handle a lot of people by himself, though? The battle from earlier was pretty close
— Hehe, I wonder how he will kill them. Who wants to bet against me?
— ... No one. Those who love to bet are all inside the game
— Poor them. They want to play with Breeze but he leaves them and goes to the enemy camp by himself
Right. Max also thought it was a shame to leave his viewers alone. But there would be a next chance. They had moved together for 30 minutes, while the game only lasted for 90 minutes. He planned to move alone for 30 minutes and joined them again later.
That way, he would be able to say that he stayed with them for 2/3 of the gameplay.
'Hmm, I can say confidently that I played together with my viewers if we moved together for that long. Besides, I never said that I would move with them, right? So it's not my fault.'
What he had to entertain was the 15K viewers who watched his stream. The fanservice could be continued later.
"Don't worry, guys. I will only kill a few people before joining them back." He said as he stopped.
He had entered the forest area. The trees were either whitened or had their leaves covered in snow. However, Max could see that they were pretty much similar to each other and their branches were still strong.
Because they were densely packed, it was possible to move from one to the other without any problem. That gave him an idea.
He immediately gripped his sword and unsheathed it, ready to confront the assailant.
"Damn yo–"
However, he was too late.
Max's axe had already found its track toward its neck. It sliced his head cleanly and made a fountain of blood sprayed from the stump. He looked at his third victim changing the snow's color to red with his spilled blood.
[Team 3 +1 point!]

[Team 3 +1 point!]
"Quick and swift, just like an assassin I am." Max quoted cool words before jumping into the forest once again, hiding under the snow with only his face visible.
— This dude...
— He's enjoying this roleplay too much
— Nah, he's like: Kill 3 and hide.
— Hey, this is Viking's Axe, right? Why is he playing an assassin roleplay? Where is the blood and gore? The man-to-man fight!
"Shh!" After reading the chat, Max made a hushed sound as his eyes narrowed like an eagle. "Assassin must be quiet. He needs a silent environment. It's all for the creed."
— ...
— HOSPITAL! WE NEED TO ADMIT HIM TO MENTAL HOSPITAL ASAP!
— Where is LilyPixel when we need it?!
— Guys, who knows LilyPixel's contact? Tell her that her boyfriend has gone really crazy!
— F for Freak!
