Chapter 393 One-hit Before Leaving

Chapter 393 One-hit Before Leaving

The Yinglong Cruiser wanted to leave, and the six Benefactor Warships couldn't stop it. Even though their Grating Cannons were sharp, they wouldn't be able to pierce through the Yinglong Cruiser's shields in a short while.

Filled with reluctance, the captain of the Yinglong Cruiser still followed Bai Zhongqi's instructions, ordering the activation of the Warp Engine to enter the Warp Bubble and leave Taoran Star. As the formation of the Warp Bubble was imminent, the six Benefactor Warships rushed forward in an attempt to block the Yinglong Cruiser. However, the captain of the Yinglong Cruiser was no pushover, and took the opportunity to blast through the shields of one of the Benefactor Warships, seriously deterring them and causing their blockade to falter.

"Captain, please give some help to the team on Taoran Star one last time," Bai Zhongqi instructed.

"Yes."

Bai Zhongqi directly requested the captain of the Yinglong Cruiser to fire dozens of missiles at Taoran Star without a specific target. Because optical detection and Quantum Communication were both ineffective, precise guidance was simply impossible.

At this time, Bai Zhongqi was controlling his Agent, still combating the Flying Saucers atop Bei Mountain. The weapons in his hands were light, posing little threat to the Benefactors' Flying Saucers. No matter how he shot at the saucers, he could only inflict minor damage to their shields.

What troubled him more were the endless streams of Benefactor servants, mainly composed of alien soldiers from Baburondi, who seemed very loyal to their masters. They fought fiercely as if not shirking or fearing anything.

Of course, it was easy for the Autochthonous Warriors to eliminate these soldiers, like cutting through melons and vegetables.

The more troublesome were those Flying Saucers. Their heavy weaponry posed a significant threat to the Autochthonous Warriors, and even the specially made Dominator I Battle Armor couldn't defend against the firepower of a warship. Bai Zhongqi continued to control the Autochthonous Warriors, focusing on evading attacks.

The top of Bei Mountain was relatively open with few places to take cover. The servant soldiers leaping out from the Flying Saucers didn't care who was a spy for the Star Alliance, attacking anyone they saw, turning the mountaintop into a bloodbath.

Bai Zhongqi's Autochthonous Warriors couldn't stop for a second, constantly moving to avoid the continuous barrage of fire from the Flying Saucers.

Yet even after Number Five had fallen to the ground, the creatures didn't stop their assault and kept swarming toward Number Five on the ground.

By now, Bai Zhongqi had almost confirmed that the creatures must be controlled by the Benefactors. They didn't allow anything to take flight, probably not due to territorial instincts, but because of the Benefactors' orders.

Bai Zhongqi realized Number Five was finished and detonated it. A huge fireball swept through the swarm of creatures; thousands of them were directly burned to death by the flames, and the shockwave from the explosion was enough to kill many more.

In just a few minutes, two of the greatest single-combat warriors built by Iridium Star technology had been lost to the combined assault of Benefactor flying saucers and monsters, which greatly infuriated Bai Zhongqi.

He was certainly not one to sit and wait for death. Before the Yinglong Cruiser departed, he ordered all the missiles on board to be fired.

Without precise targets, the missiles were fired in the direction of Bei Mountain, where he was currently located, using inertial guidance to strike Taoran Star. Not every Star Alliance missile would be equipped with outdated gadgets like gyroscopes. Fortunately, advancements in technology meant that even such high-level gyroscopes wouldn't be much of a nuisance, which is why they still had a place in every precious gram of missile.

Of course, counting on inertial guidance to hit flying saucers was definitely impossible, but Bai Zhongqi had his methods.

Upon seeing a barrage of missiles launched by the Yinglong Cruiser, six Benefactor warships immediately activated their anti-aircraft guns to intercept the missiles. After shooting down several missiles, the Benefactors noticed that the missiles seemed to be heading toward Taoran Star.

If they pursued to intercept, the Yinglong Cruiser would just swagger away; if they didn't intercept, no one knew what the real targets of these missiles were or how much damage they would cause. For a moment, the Benefactors also found themselves in a dilemma.

The missiles, guided by inertia, tore through Taoran Star's atmosphere filled with various interferences and streaked toward Bei Mountain. The speed of these missiles entering the atmosphere reached several tens of Mach, and only advanced materials technology could ensure that their shells remained undamaged from the intense frictional heat and unchanged in their trajectories.

Inside a flying saucer, Shen Shen Zhuraf saw the incoming missiles and his face turned pale, "Damn those Earthlings!"
