Chapter 77
Chapter 77
After Jaekyung safely placed the mattress in the parking lot on the first floor, Jihong took him to a nearby sushi restaurant. Perhaps because dinner time had already passed, it was very quiet in the restaurant. And they sat down at an empty table in the corner.
"What are you going to do?"
"Sushi with eel," Jaekyung replied without looking at the menu.
"Well...", thought Jihon and added aloud: "Then I'll order an assortment."
"Then why did you even ask?" asked Jaekyung, surprised.
But Jihong ignored this and called the waiter. And when he accepted the order and left, he leaned over to Jaekyung and said quietly, "After the meal, you will go home."
However, there was no answer.
"Hey, I don't even have a bed at home. Will you go home, okay?" repeated Jihon and, without waiting for the consent of the other party, picked up the phone to leave a request for garbage collection.
And then he immediately went to the website of the online furniture store, looking for a new bed.
"Let's just buy a double bed, hyung," Jaekyung suggested as he peeked at the screen. "I'll pay."
"Don't," Jihong snapped.
"Why?" It was because of me that it broke. Let me take care of the expenses.
"Don't. Otherwise you will come here as if it were your home.
"What are you talking about?" frowned Jaekyung. "I'm going to come here anyway."
Jihon raised his head and looked at the impudent man. And he met his gaze, innocently flapping his eyelashes.
"What an impudent man!
"yes. So give me the code for the intercom, hyung," Jaekyung demanded calmly, deciding that since he was known as impudent, then he could relax.
"What a self-confidence!" - Jihon lamented to himself.
"Why on earth should I tell you it?" he grinned. In fact, he wanted to be truly indignant, but he couldn't help laughing.
"Why not?" the bulldozer did not give up.
"Because I don't want to," Jihon blurted out just as peremptorily. — "And what other reasons can there be?"
Jaekyung stared at him intently, and then nodded suspiciously, as if agreeing, "Well, don't do it."
Jihong did not have time to be surprised by such an accommodating demeanor, as Jaekyung, taking a decanter from the table, continued: "Then I will wait for you outside. And if I catch a cold, it's my own fault. And in general, it gets colder, it's the best thing to catch a sore."
"Okay, I'll put it on the list of options," Jihong agreed with a sigh and tiredly put down the phone.
The chosen single bed had to be removed from the basket - instead of it, Jihon ordered a double bed from the same company. Seeing that the price had doubled, he involuntarily whistled, and when he added a mattress topper to the order, he was completely dumbfounded: the amount turned out to be equal to almost his monthly salary. Of course, he could have bought something cheaper, but Jihong preferred to spend once on something worthwhile rather than constantly changing broken things. Of course, it was a shame to part with such an amount, but it was too late to ask Jaekyung to pay for the order.
"It's okay, next time he will buy me a new bed. And the frame too," Jihong grunted maliciously and pressed the "Pay" button.
At that moment, as if by magic, a waiter appeared with their order. And Jihong, taking chopsticks, deftly picked up sushi with eel from the edge of his plate and handed it to Jaekyung: "Here, eat."
"What is this for?" he wondered, interrupting his manipulations with soy sauce and wasabi.
"You wanted an eel."
"I just said it.
"Of course, but I believed it," Jihon thought, giving him a menacing look, and put the sushi on the guy's plate.
"Eat, come on." I don't eat it anyway.
"Don't you like sushi with eel?"
"I love eel. It's just here with some kind of sweet sauce, I don't like it.
"Don't you like such sweetness too?" asked Jaekyung.
"I don't like it. My maximum is desserts.
"So you hardly eat them either.
Jihong grinned at such observation. Jaekyung really didn't see him eating anything sweet.
— Yes, I don't like it. For the same reason, I don't really touch fruits. But you have a sweet tooth, aren't you?
Jaekyung hovered for a moment before replying, "No."
"You have tastes like a child," Jihon teased him deliberately. "You like ice cream and milkshakes."
"It was hot then, so I ate," Jaekyung muttered in irritation.
Judging by the swollen vein on his forehead, one more word, and he would definitely explode.
"Damn, I shouldn't find this cute," Jihon scolded himself, holding back a smile, and took the omelet sushi from his plate. And then he suggested to Jaekyung again: "Here, eat. The omelet is also sweet."
"No, I told you I don't like sweets," the angry guy persisted.
"Okay, understood, but you will eat it anyway. And then, like a good boy, you will go home. Okay?" added Jihong soothingly.
However, Jaekyung didn't say a word in response.
