Chapter 615: An Mo’s Favorite Kind of Drama
Su Qinglan watched him for a second, then pulled him into her arms tightly. "My baby, how are you here?" She immediately kissed his cheeks, his face, his nose, and his forehead multiple times. Her tears mixed with the kisses. She hugged him so hard as if she was afraid he would disappear.Xiao San hugged her back with his small arms. "Mommy, I was so scared. Father was hurt badly. I followed Uncle An Mo’s scent and came here. I wanted to see you and Father."
Su Qinglan cried even harder. She stroked his soft hair and checked if he had any injuries. "My good child. You are safe. That is the most important thing. Mommy is here now. Father will be fine soon."
The old healer watched the mother and son with gentle eyes. A small smile appeared on his old face.
Su Qinglan held Xiao San in her lap while still staying close to Shi Feng. She kept one hand on Shi Feng’s chest, feeling his breathing become stronger. Her healing energy was still working slowly inside his body.
"Xiao San, look. Father is getting better," she said softly, trying to comfort both her son and herself.
The little snake cub nodded and reached out his small hand to touch his lion father’s arm. "Father, wake up quickly. We need you. Mommy is crying."
Shi Feng, still unconscious, felt another familiar presence.
A small spark of strength appeared in his body. His fingers moved slightly, as if trying to hold his wife’s hand back.
Su Qinglan noticed it. Her eyes lit up with hope.
"Shi Feng... you felt us, right? Come back to us. We are waiting for you."
She kissed Xiao San’s head again and whispered, "We will get through this together. Our family will not break."
The old healer nodded silently. He prepared some medicine for Su Qinglan to recover her own energy.
Su Qinglan looked at Shi Feng’s face. Even in unconsciousness, his brows were slightly relaxed now. She felt grateful to An Mo from the bottom of her heart. Without him, she might have lost everything.
"Rest well, my silly lion," she said gently. "I will protect you this time."

An Mo stood tall in the middle of the battlefield. He had just destroyed the beast suppression lock with one single hand.
The sound of it breaking echoed like thunder.
On the other side, Teng Siyan felt like the sky had fallen on his head. His face turned pale white. He could not believe what he was seeing. His eyes were wide open as he stared at An Mo.
Right now, An Mo looks like a real monster to him.
Teng Siyan’s body shook. Cold sweat ran down his back.
When the beast suppression lock was gone, Xuan Long had nothing holding him back anymore.
Teng Siyan felt death creeping closer and closer.
It was like an invisible hand was squeezing his neck tightly. The pressure was so strong that it felt like it would crush the life out of his body.
He took one shaky step backward.
The other elders around him were even worse.
Their knees went completely weak. One by one, they fell to the ground with a thud. Their faces were full of fear.
"We are finished," one of them whispered.
"Truly finished this time."
Xuan Long was already terrifying even when the lock was on him.
Now, Lord An Mo had broken it so easily. No one could stop him.
The elders started regretting everything. They had done so much because they thought they had full control over him. They never imagined that this small family mattered so much to Xuan Long.
One elder thought bitterly, "It is all Teng Siyan’s fault. He should not have dragged us here."
Another one nodded in his heart. "Yes, karma is hitting us right in the face now."
In Xuan Long’s case, they knew he would not leave even a single elder alive.
He was ruthless.
More ruthless than his own father.
At least his father sometimes cared about blood ties. But Xuan Long was like a wild wave in the ocean.
Nothing could move him.
Nothing mattered to him.
For so many centuries, the only thing they found that he cared about was that little cub of his. And now they had used that cub and treated him badly.
Would he forgive them?
No way.
Fear filled their hearts. Many of them thought the same thing at once.
"We should run away right now!"
A few quick ones looked at the injured Teng Ren. He was the first one hurt by Xuan Long earlier. They helped him stand up a little.
Teng Ren crushed a scroll in his hand without thinking twice. In a flash of light, both he and one other elder disappeared from the spot.
The rest of the Teng Clan saw this and got angry.
"Bastards! At least take us with you!" they shouted.
They quickly pulled out their own scrolls too. These scrolls were special. They could open a portal to the upper domain and help them escape immediately.
An Mo watched all this and chuckled loudly. His voice was full of sarcasm.
"So cowardly. I have only removed his beast suppression lock and you are already planning to run away like scared rats."
He said it with a mocThe king smile on his face.
Then he snapped his fingers.
Suddenly, everyone still there felt a crushing weight fall on their bodies. It was like a mountain was pressing down on them.
The next second...
WHOOSH!
WHOOSH!
WHOOSH!
Flames erupted everywhere. The elders stared in horror as their treasured scrolls suddenly ignited.
One after another, the scrolls burned into ashes. The entire battlefield became filled with screams.
"My scroll!"
"My teleportation scroll!"
"I spent three hundred years saving for that!"
"No!"
"My life savings!"
One elder dropped to his knees and desperately tried to extinguish the fire.
Unfortunately, the fire disappeared together with the scroll, leaving only ashes behind.
The elder stared at the ashes. Then let out a miserable howl. The sound was so tragic that even nearby birds fled.
An Mo almost laughed. These people were truly entertaining.
Teng Siyan’s face became uglier and uglier. Meanwhile, Xuan Long’s giant serpent eyes remained fixed on them. The killing intent inside them only grew stronger.
An Mo casually crossed his arms. His expression was relaxed. His tone was lazy.
"What happened?"
"Why aren’t you running anymore?"
The Teng Clan members almost vomited blood.
Run?
How were they supposed to run?
The scrolls were gone!
All gone!
An Mo looked at their desperate expressions and clicked his tongue.
"How disappointing."
"I thought the famous Teng Clan would be a little braver."
"But all I see are frightened chickens."
Several elders nearly fainted from anger. Yet nobody dared to argue. Because behind An Mo stood Xuan Long. And behind Xuan Long stood death itself.
An Mo smiled even wider. Then he slowly looked toward Teng Siyan. His eyes sparkled with amusement.
"Don’t worry."
"The real drama is only starting now."
The moment those words fell, every Teng Clan member felt their hearts sink to the bottom.
Because they all understood one thing.
Before, they had been facing a restrained Xuan Long.
Now?
They were about to face an unleashed one.
