Chapter 65
Chapter 65
Time flew by, and winter was approaching.
Zuo Zichen spent money like water, and every time Quan Zhisui asked about his allowance, it was already gone.
She didn’t hit him this time; her younger brother was beyond reform, and she was tired of trying.
Ever since that incident where she hit Wei Shixu, Quan Zhisui seemed to have lost a part of her spirit. She no longer had the energy to engage in mind games with the Zuo family.
Let it all burn!
Her reputation at Liang Secondary School had grown exponentially. Whenever Quan Zhisui was mentioned, everyone would gasp in awe, and even the teachers had discussed her multiple times behind her back.
A martial arts student transferring to a regular high school.
On her first day, she broke the troublemaker Zuo Zichen’s arm, and later, in the cafeteria, she beat up Zuo Zichen and his gang, solidifying her position as the school’s top enforcer.
Everyone thought this was Quan Zhisui’s peak, but little did they know it was just the beginning!
Within a few months, she had also beaten up Wei Shixu! And not just anywhere—she dragged him to a corner in front of the whole class and pounded him relentlessly!
This was Wei Shixu, the grandson of the wealthiest family in Liangxi Town! The same Wei Shixu who donated money to renovate the school dorms and was the top student in his grade!
The most baffling part was that after the incident, Wei Shixu didn’t retaliate, and Quan Zhisui didn’t receive any disciplinary action.
Though the two of them later became like strangers, this legendary incident was enough for the teachers to gossip about until they graduated high school!
It might even become a story passed down to future generations of students...
But no one knew that Quan Zhisui, revered by teachers and students alike as a mythical figure, was actually worrying about the cold weather.
Her clothes were once again insufficient. While her classmates wore sweaters under their uniforms, she had to layer multiple pieces of clothing to keep warm.
On Monday morning, the driver, Zhao Lin, drove the siblings to school.
As soon as she stepped out of the car, Quan Zhisui shivered from the cold. The chilly air had swept south, biting at her neck.
Zuo Zichen, on the other hand, wasn’t cold. Having gone so many days without being beaten, he was feeling smug and didn’t bother to carry Quan Zhisui’s bag for her as he usually did. He dashed off as soon as they got out of the car.
Quan Zhisui tightened her uniform and walked through the school gates.
Parked side by side at the entrance were two limited-edition Rolls-Royces. Wei Shixu watched the figure outside the car window until it disappeared from sight, only then opening the door to step out.
“Young Master,” a bodyguard called from behind. “Aren’t you taking these?”
Wei Shixu turned around and glanced at the two car trunks filled to the brim with clothes. Without a word, he turned and walked into the school.
The bodyguards exchanged puzzled looks.
“Should we take these to the young master’s dorm?”
“There’s no way all of this will fit, and besides, it’s women’s clothing!”
“He bought all this but isn’t giving it to her. What’s he thinking?”
“Who knows...”
In Classroom 1, as soon as Wei Shixu walked in, he spotted the person at the back row buried in her books, occasionally rubbing her hands together or blowing into her fists to warm them.
He averted his gaze, his expression cold.
If your martial arts senior is so great, why hasn’t he sent you any clothes?
A martial artist with over a decade of training, shivering from the cold because she didn’t have enough clothes—how laughable.
The five lackeys chorused, “Hello, Sister-in-law!”
Zhuge Ying was beyond irritated!
Kong Mingze stopped and asked, “Class Monitor, did you agree to be with him?”
“No,” Zhuge Ying tugged at him. “Let’s go.”
But Kong Mingze didn’t budge.
Instead, he turned around and hurled his coffee at Zuo Zichen!
Splat—
It hit Zuo Zichen right in the face!
“You motherf—!” Zuo Zichen lunged forward.
Kong Mingze didn’t hesitate to meet him head-on, and the two began trading punches!
Zhuge Ying was initially panicked, but she quickly positioned herself in front of the five lackeys who were about to join the fight. “Six against one? Do you want to embarrass Zuo Zichen by making it seem like he can’t handle Kong Mingze alone? Oh, how humiliating.”
Her last sentence was dripping with sarcasm.
The five lackeys hesitated!
Zhuge Ying’s strategy was to stall them, preventing Kong Mingze from being overwhelmed, while she looked for an opportunity to call for help or inform a teacher.
...
Back in Classroom 1 of the second year, a few students rushed in, first heading to Wei Shixu.
“Wei Shixu! It’s bad! Kong Mingze and Zuo Zichen are fighting!”
Wei Shixu looked up. “How many?”
“Huh? What?”
Wei Shixu: “How many people are fighting?”
“Oh! Just the two of them! Zuo Zichen’s lackeys are being held back by the Class Monitor!”
“You need to go! They’re fighting really badly!”
Wei Shixu lowered his head and continued watching a movie. “One-on-one? No need.”
The messengers were speechless. They then hurried to the back of the classroom to find Quan Zhisui.
“Quan Zhisui! It’s bad! Kong Mingze and Zuo Zichen are fighting!”
Quan Zhisui looked up. “Who’s winning?”
The messengers: “???”
Wait, is that the main point here?
Why are you and Wei Shixu so weirdly calm about this?!
“No winner yet,” one of them answered.
Quan Zhisui went back to her homework. “Tell me when there’s a winner.”
The messengers were on the verge of pulling their hair out. Why were these two big shots so unfazed?!
Fortunately, someone had already gone to fetch a teacher, so the fight didn’t escalate too badly.
