Chapter 419 The God of Knowledge, Batman

Chapter 419 The God of Knowledge, Batman

In Earth-3, as the Anti-Monitor was taken away by the suddenly appearing booming portal, Lord Superman also disappeared, and the remaining Lords of Justice finally relaxed their tense nerves.

"Take a headcount of the wounded and allow them to rest on the spot—"

Lord Superman rushed into the Bat Titan where Lord Bat was located, and carried him back to the other Lords of Justice.

Bruce's neck was broken, but thanks to his strong physique and willpower, the Lord Bat did not die immediately and still has a glimmer of hope.

Compared to him, Lord Lightning's injuries were insignificant; with the Speedster's innate rapid healing abilities,

Lord Lightning had by now largely recovered his physical condition.

However, Lord Aquaman's chest was smashed open, making him the most seriously injured besides Lord Batman.

Lord Eagle Maiden's broken leg also recovered rapidly under the effect of N metal.

Wanda and Zatanna frowned as they looked at Lord Superman kneeling before Bruce. One immediately used healing magic to help them recover from their injuries, while the other stood beside Metron.

Metron, who was originally sitting high and mighty in his chair, was now lying on the ground. After being hit by Grell's Omega Ray, he seemed to have suffered a serious injury as well.

"Mollian, control him."

Wanda said in a low voice.

"snort."

Morian always seemed to be unwilling, but her body was quite honest and obedient. Her graceful body, covered by a thin veil, slowly appeared in the air and floated towards Mettron.

"You mentioned earlier that you've been pursuing knowledge, so please tell me what to do next?"

Wanda's body also began to sway, and she asked Metlong.

Lord Eagle Maiden remained silent, then slammed the Demon-Slaying Hammer to the ground with a thud.

The Lords of Justice are well aware that their idealistic goal is to incite a battle between the Anti-Monitors and Darkseid, and Connors has now made their battle inevitable by altering reality.

Before that, the overwhelming power of the Anti-Monitors nearly swept away the Lords of Justice. They first had to be able to protect themselves in the face of the Anti-Monitors before they could wait for the war to begin.

"I can see the entire present and past of the universe, and I know that you Lords of Justice have saved the world time and time again."

Metron slowly walked toward the Möbius Chair, where his injuries would heal instantly once he was back on the chair.

"But this time you will be powerless to change anything. If you want to live, go find your loved ones and leave Earth together."

"No, we won't do that. Tell me how to stop the anti-surveillance agents," Lord Lightning said, stepping forward.

"His origins must not be revealed—" Metron still refused to say.

"Screw them, they won't tell anyone!"

The hot-tempered lord eagle girl kicked the Demon Hammer lying on the ground. The hammer bounced into the air, which she grabbed and then charged toward Methlon, hammer and all.

"Tell me, who is the anti-surveillance agent! How can we stop him from continuing his sabotage!"

Lord Eagle Maiden roared.

"Let me back to the chair, I need the knowledge the chair provides—" Metron said hastily, startled by the lord eagle maiden's furious appearance.

"Chair?"

Lord Superman, who was kneeling on the ground beside him, holding the nearly dying Lord Bat and remaining motionless, raised his head:

"You call yourself the god of knowledge, but are you only a 'god' when you're sitting in that chair?"

Metron remained silent, seemingly anticipating what would happen next; a fleeting look of terror crossed his face.

"No, you can't do that!"

But his words could not deter Lord Superman's determination.

The Lord Superman, shrouded in a pure white battle suit, strode up to the Möbius Chair, carrying the Lord Bat with his neck broken.

"Stop! The Möbius Chair cannot be tamed; it belongs to me now!" Metron desperately lunged at the chair.

But the Phantom Goddess Morian waved her hand, and a thin veil wrapped around Mettron.

"I'm sorry, Bruce, but I have to save your life."

Lord Superman looked down at Lord Bat in his arms and said something, then placed him on the Möbius Chair without hesitation.

"ah!!"

The dying lord bat instantly recovered, and his eyes and mouth emitted an almost tangible white light.

Darkseid from Apokolips, the Dark Legion, and Superman from Earth Zero who was transported there via the Boom Portal.

Greer of Earth Zero vs. the two female warriors, and the Anti-Monitor vs. the remaining members.

What Connors of Earth 3 is doing at this moment, and the changes taking place in the worlds he has visited—worlds that are slowly approaching him through his efforts.

"I can hear them—the answers, the answers to everything."

Are they real?

The Lord Bat's battle armor became like the original Metron's, covered in etched lines.

The bat logo on his chest glowed white.

With his eyes also filled with white light, he seemed to have replaced Mettron and become the new god of knowledge.

"Who killed my parents?"

The lord bat seemed to be asking himself a question, then nodded as if he had received an answer.

"What exactly is Connors' background? — It's pretty much what I guessed."

"Where did the Anti-Monitor go? — Earth Zero? Did he choose that as the main battlefield against Darkseid?"

After a series of questions had been answered, Lord Bat finally decided to ask the most important question at hand:

"Who are the anti-surveillance agents?"

"Mobius, I'll ask you one more time, who is the anti-surveillance agent?"

Lord Superman stood before him, his face filled with worry:

"Bruce, are you alright?"

"I have never felt so good, Karl El." The Lord Bat crossed his arms over his chest. "My Möbius Chair cannot know the origins and answers of the Anti-Monitor."

"You're no good at all, get off that chair!"

Lord Superman realized something was wrong when he heard the other party address him as "Karl El," which was not how his former comrades usually addressed him.

"Your Möbius Chair?!" Metron was so angry he almost vomited blood.

"That's right, it now belongs to me. I am the God of Knowledge who will replace you," the lord bat said condescendingly.

"Bruce, come down here and talk." Lord Eaglewoman also sensed that something was wrong.

"Everything's under my control, guys. I can do it."

Lord Bat remained unmoved, still seated firmly in his chair:

"You must get to Earth Zero as soon as possible, where an unprecedented battle is about to break out. Go and drive the Anti-Monitors off Earth."

"And you?" Lord Lightning asked.

"I'm going to find the answers about the anti-surveillance agents," said Lord Bat.

A dazzling white light flashed, and the Lord Bat, the new God of Knowledge, vanished without a trace while seated on the Möbius Chair.

Lord Hunter, who had been slammed into the depths of the earth by the Anti-Monitor, finally emerged from the ground. The first thing he saw was Lord Aquaman, whose chest had caved in.

"He's dead."
