Chapter 375 Cassie's Subconscious

Chapter 375 Cassie's Subconscious

"Spark" Corianda felt like she was dreaming.

She knew a lot about Connors, most of it from Rachel Ross, "Raven," and a little from what she found out herself.

She always felt that this kind of strength had almost no upper limit, and she had never been defeated by any opponent. She thought that someone who could destroy a planet with a wave of his hand should not have much to do with her.

But just as she was risking her life to save "Wonder Girl" Cassie, rushing in again and again, getting knocked away, and rushing in again,

Connors seemed to have heard the call in her heart and appeared in this primitive world.

"Wonder Girl, I know you can hear me."

Connors approached the magical girl Cassie, who was wearing the Silent Armor, and looked at her body covered in golden spikes.

"I know this armor must have done something bad to you, digging out the dark side hidden deep in your soul, letting discontent and anger overwhelm your entire mind."

"But I believe you can overcome your dark side, because I will help you completely master this armor."

The magical girl Cassie remained aloof, as if the person hidden beneath her metal armor was no longer a living person, but an emotionless machine.

"I could, but I don't want to."

"I became one with this armor before you, the 'outsider,' even arrived at Earth Zero. I've had enough of continuing to resist it—get out of my sight, 'outsider.'"

As she spoke, the magical girl stretched out her palm, her five fingers like ghostly claws, the spikes on the back of her hand and fingertips gleaming with a cold light.

If you grip it firmly, you can leave a deep claw mark even on hard reinforced concrete.

But Connors didn't care. He casually reached out and grabbed the hand of the magical girl Cassie:

"You misheard me. I'm not telling you to continue suffering under this suit of armor, but rather to take complete control of it."

"I spent enough time in the sky to figure out the structure of your armor. Listen to me, concentrate all your mind, and don't let your negative emotions affect you."

Connors said, and then the "dream relic" entered the subconscious of the magical girl Cassie.

Since coming into contact with high-level combatants like Superman, Connors has never suffered a loss, and the various rewards for being a gossipmonger have filled him up into a well-rounded warrior.

But when he entered the subconscious of the magical girl Cassie, Connors was suddenly stunned.

A tremendous roar exploded in Connors' mind, followed by a chilling gaze fixed upon him.

One, two, three—

Six tangible gazes stared intently at Connors from the subconscious of the magical girl Cassie, making him feel immense pressure with every move he made.

"Wait a minute, why do I feel pressured?"

Connors curiously felt the gazes directed at him. He knew that he had managed to outwit Darkseid, the "Dark Lord," and even snatched the "Active Life Formula" from him.

As the true form behind those six gazes was about to be revealed—a demon-like creature with two horns on its head—Connors realized what was happening:

It wasn't that his strength was lower than this guy's; the pressure he felt was simply because he wasn't in his true form right now, but rather that the "dream relic" ability alone couldn't compare to the opponent's strength.

Back to reality, Connors gave an instruction to "Supergirl" Cara:

"I need to physically enter her spiritual world for a while. You wait for me here."

Kara was chatting hand in hand with "Starfire" Corianda. As fellow beings from the universe, they had much in common and nodded in agreement when she heard Connors' words.

Without hesitation, Connors unleashed the full power of his "Dream Relic," vanishing from his spot and entering the mental world of the magical girl Cassie in the next instant.

This time, Connors ignored the six-eyed, demon-like creature and even used "Precision Manipulation" to control Cassie's mental world, erasing the demon directly.

Connors then continued deeper into the dream and came to a place that looked like a tomb.

This is Cassie's deepest consciousness, and Connors can sense the connection between her Silent Armor and this place.

It seems that modern archaeological excavation work is underway here, with all sorts of equipment and archaeologists busily working around, but the magical girl Cassie is nowhere to be seen.

Since Cassie is not visible on the ground, and this is Cassie's subconscious, she must have already entered the tomb.

After looking around and finding no clues related to the Silent Armor, Connors jumped into the tomb.

The mausoleum was enormous, with long, dark corridors that stretched to the horizon.

It's like a maze here, with a complex network of paths, and even the electric lights installed by the archaeological team haven't been able to illuminate all of them.

Connors followed the path through the tomb, using telepathy to search for Cassie's whereabouts, and finally found her deepest within the mausoleum.

Unlike other places, this place is not only illuminated as if under the sun, but also incredibly vast, seemingly the most important place in the entire mausoleum.

Cassie appeared to be frightened, her body trembling slightly. In front of her lay a corpse, with silver spikes protruding from its body.

Just when Connors thought it was another set of Silent Armor, Cassie mustered up the courage to reach out and touch the body.

So the magical girl Cassie, who had been trembling with fear, turned cold, and then she smirked and let out a piercing laugh.

Sharp spikes emerged from Cassie's body, covering her entire body in golden metallic armor.

Once Cassie had completely transformed into a metal figure covered in spikes, the armor began to seep into her body again, eventually disappearing from her skin.

Seeing this, Connors also took action. He pulled out a green vortex from the mysterious house, which was the "Active Life Equation".

As he grabbed Cassie with one hand and the Active Life Equation with the other, slamming it into her head, the equation instantly merged with the magical girl Cassie.

The ear-piercing roar rang out again; it was the Silent Armor making its sound. Before the armor could react, Connors used "Magic Affinity," rendering it completely still and putting it under the true control of the magical girl Cassie.

The reason I used the "magical affinity" ability is because Connors already knows who that guy with six eyes and two horns is:

Rachel Ross's father, "The Raven," and "Triple Demon."
