Chapter 259 Shameless Spells

Chapter 259 Shameless Spells

You should call me Auntie.

Morgan Lefebvre, dressed in a magnificent medieval gown, slightly raised her eyes, shifting her gaze from Connors to the two identical "Poison Ivy Lolis".

The one who spoke just now was Ivy. Upon hearing this, her eyebrows immediately furrowed and her little face tensed up.

"The green of all things within me has existed since the moment a plant is born. Strictly speaking, my age is equivalent to countless times yours!"

Morgan Lefebvre listened in bewildered as little Ivy talked about things like "the green of all things" and "the birth of plants." Although she didn't understand, that didn't stop her from retorting:

"But you're only a seven or eight-year-old child, aren't you?"

Even when arguing with a little girl, Morgan le Fay remained incredibly elegant.

Even if the two of you don't, the three of you combined aren't even half my age.

Connors followed Morgan Lefebvre's gaze and looked down, only to find that the woman had included him in her calculations, and he couldn't refute it, as what she said was true.

Low EQ Connors: "An old witch like you should just dig a hole and lie down in it."

Connors, with his high emotional intelligence: "Most stars and the moon are very old to us, but they have been in the sky all along. In their long lifespan, the past years are insignificant and they are still young."

"The same applies to you, the elegant and noble Morgan Lefebvre."

The concepts of "human limits" and "photosynthesis" gave Connors a level of thinking and reaction beyond that of a normal person, allowing him to give a highly emotionally intelligent answer without any hesitation.

Batman: "..—"

He gave Connors a strange look.

Since Connors arrived, "Superman" hadn't had a chance to say a word, and now his brow was furrowed, taking Connors' words to heart:

"It seems that even with 'superpowers,' I still need to use my 'super thinking' from time to time; perhaps that will help me warm up my relationship with Louise Lane more quickly."

Because of Connors, Earth-3's "Superman" always regarded Earth-3's "Reporter" Lois as his older cousin.

Earth Zero's "Superman" was never unintentionally tricked by Connors. His relationship with "Reporter Man" Lois Lane has been getting closer since the "Evil Forever" incident, but they are still a little short of taking the final step.

Earth Zero has been peaceful for a long time. The last time a crisis occurred was when Dark Lord Darkseid came to ask for help, which meant that Superman never had the chance to save the day.

"Age is just a number for someone with such a long lifespan, but your appearance is youthful even among the youngest mortals."

Even the most beautiful celebrities are unattainable; if I could, I wish I had met you sooner.

"As a philosopher once said, the best time to plant a tree was ten years ago, the second best time is now. If I miss this opportunity..."

"Maybe when I'm old and looking back fifty years from now, I'll want to get out of bed and slap myself twice."

Superman stared wide-eyed and pricked up his ears, not daring to miss a single word, listening to Connors' flattery with even more attention than Morgan Lefebvre, who was being flattered.

Despite being the most powerful god on earth in public, "Superman" has never been in a relationship and is tired of being single.

Just as attentive as "Superman" was "The Flash." Unlike "Superman," he was a contestant who had dated before, but those relationships usually lasted only about a month before ending. He was also listening intently to Connors' live instruction.

As Wonder Woman Diana listened to Connors's relentless flattery of Morgan le Fay, an indescribable feeling welled up inside her. Her initial good mood upon seeing Connors began to dampen with each wave of flattery.

"I'm using this opportunity to cast a spell. This witch is dangerous, Diana."

Wonder Woman's subtle emotional changes did not escape Connors's "Athena's vision." While he continued to praise Morgan le Fay, his "telepathy" quietly comforted Diana.

"Very dangerous? Using this opportunity to cast a spell?"

Wonder Woman Diana was startled, but as a battle-hardened Amazonian warrior, she wouldn't make any unnecessary movements at this moment. Instead, she imitated the blank-faced expression of the Flash, Barry, standing next to her.

She blinked, and "Athena's Vision" swept over the surroundings without her noticing, discovering that Connors had not lied to her; a thin layer of black mist had appeared around them at some unknown time.

In the dark blue-black "Shadowlands," the black mist is barely noticeable, and its source is the black smoke warhorse that Connors rides.

Morgan le Fay, the "Witch," was no stranger to flattery, but as a powerful and magical witch, she was surrounded by people who kept their distance from her. She had never heard such bold and undisguised praise from Connors before.

Even though he knew that the man riding the black-smoke warhorse was deliberately trying to please him, Morgan Lefebvre felt no resistance whatsoever. Instead, he was completely absorbed in Connors's flattery.

When the black mist had thickened to the point that it could no longer be concealed even within the bluish-black "Shadow Realm," Morgan le Fay finally realized:

"Are you trying to use this opportunity of verbal attacks to unleash some underhanded magic?"

The runes, stars, and moon symbols on her medieval dress flew up and coalesced in the air into a ball of light resembling the sun, which she then threw at Connors.

When Batman was pulled into the Shadowlands by a sudden event, he wasn't wearing the Hellbat armor. From his perspective, Morgan le Fay's distorted figure could be clearly seen moving.

Then, from all directions, those lines wriggled in the air like snakes. They were just simple lines, but one look at them made one feel nauseous.

From the perspective of "Superman" and others, Morgan le Fay combined his magic with the runes, stars, and moon on his body to form a "sun," which enveloped Connors in a vast expanse of light.

Morgan le Fay was furious at the moment, the more pleased he had been by Connors's flattery. He unleashed a powerful attack, as if he wanted to tear Connors to shreds.

"Ivy, you and Acely team up to block this attack for me," Connors said, no longer holding back, as black smoke billowed towards Morgan Lefebvre.

"Okay!"

The two little girls sitting in front of Connors responded sweetly. One of them instantly sprouted vines, and the other erected a shield wall covered with thorns, which crashed down in front of the black smoke warhorse with a loud bang.

A sun and a black smoke, their interplay of light and darkness in the "Shadow Realm" caused the blue-black tones to fluctuate, the distorted lines to take on color and recombine, and everyone to turn into melted wax figures.

A pinkish-purple magical shield appeared around Morgan le Fay, blocking the black smoke, and the sun she released was also blocked by Ivy and Esley working together.

"As long as she's controlled, she won't be able to send the 'Justice League' back to Earth. I wonder what kind of reward will be given for letting the 'Lord of Justice,' who has completely become an 'outsider,' intervene in the events surrounding Earth Zero this time?"

Connors has never heard of this kind of "superhero from another world saving this world" story before.
