Chapter 180 'Outsider' Saves the World
Chapter 180 'Outsider' Saves the World
Chapter 180 'Outsider' Saves the World
The Outsider pushes aside the moon that's blocking the sun, and Superpower kneels before Lex Luthor.
Almost simultaneously, inside the Justice League Watchtower, "Yellow Lantern" Sinestro found "Firestorm".
As the first rays of sunlight shone directly on the earth seventy-two hours later, the superheroes returned.
Upon seeing a "yellow light," these superheroes instinctively assumed the other party was one of the villains invading Earth.
They immediately split into two groups.
A group of superheroes, led by The Flash, Zatanna, and Martian Manhunter, chose to conduct a large-scale search and rescue operation for those in need around the world.
The superheroes, led by Wonder Woman, immediately took to the skies to fight the "crime syndicate."
"We have been trapped inside the firestorm for over 72 hours, and the world desperately needs our help."
Wonder Woman said that they flew into the air and saw that the whole world had become ruins. Towering buildings had collapsed, cracks were everywhere on the ground, and large chunks of reinforced concrete were scattered.
"Hopefully the casualties aren't too high. Those of you skilled in rescue, go and help out on the battlefield. The rest of you, follow me!"
Seeing the world as if it had been ravaged by gunfire, Wonder Woman shouted to the members of the Justice League, the Dark Justice League, and the Justice League of America.
Lantern, Stargirl, Shazam, Aquaman, and others responded enthusiastically, even though they had previously fought each other for "Pandora's Box".
But now that the Earth is in crisis, they must put aside their hatred and unite against the enemy.
"Judging from the scale of the ruins, the crisis Earth is facing this time is beyond imagination."
The "asker" looked seriously at the thick smoke rising around him and said.
"Shockwave" clenched his fist:
"Before we were trapped in the 'Firestorm Matrix,' the 'Outsider' opened Pandora's Box, claiming it was a teleportation portal."
"It's obvious that all this disaster was caused by that knock-off 'Justice League'." Hawkman gripped his hammer, ready to fight them.
The seven or eight superheroes flew or jumped, starting from the Temple of Hephaestus, and their first destination was Boston.
There is no ongoing battle here, and the Justice League clone, also known as the "Crime Syndicate," is not in this city.
Instead, a "suicide squad" led by "Wonder Woman" is carrying out a rescue mission here.
"It seems we're not needed here for the time being. Those guys have likely moved on to another battlefield. We need to hurry!"
Hawkman looked away from the cracks in the ground that are ubiquitous in Boston and spoke to the other superheroes.
They arrived in Gotham, but still couldn't find anyone from the "Criminal Syndicate."
Those Gotham criminals who went mad while the world was in chaos and prisons were destroyed were all hung up in the streets, their faces bruised and swollen.
Judging from the fear on the faces of these criminals and the signs of a battle at the scene, it's very much like Batman's style.
Wonder Woman arrives at Scarecrow, who is bound hand and foot, and discovers that there seems to be a mark on his palm from a branding iron.
An owl logo.
"Who attacked you?"
Wonder Woman asked, not because she cared about the criminals, but because there seemed to be no one on this earth who used an owl as a symbol.
She wanted to use this to pursue the "crime syndicate".
"Hahaha, he said he's not Batman!" The scarecrow, with a burlap sack over its head, gruffly said, "That's the fucking Batman!"
Wonder Woman: "..."
One was like that, and so were two; every criminal claimed they had encountered Batman, even though the brand on their palms was far removed from the image of a bat.
She turned to look at the superheroes suspended in mid-air:
"Things seem a bit complicated—we're heading to Central City!"
The central city was no different from other cities, except that there were far more collapsed buildings than those that were still standing. They discovered the "Rogue Gang" here.
And two Harleys.
And unlike what Wonder Woman envisioned, the Rogues were also carrying out rescue operations at this time.
"Heatwave! You idiot, lower the temperature! I want you to burn through the floorboards; you're going to roast the people trapped underneath alive!"
The "weather wizard" roared at the "heat wave".
"Trickster! If your bomb accidentally injures even one innocent civilian, I'll have 'Captain Cold' kick you out of the Rogue Gang!"
"The Master of Mirrors" shouted to "The Trickster".
The two Harleys didn't participate in the rescue, but they were fighting over an oversized mallet and chasing down criminals who were taking advantage of the chaos.
"Ha, this looks pretty fun." Shazam looked down with envy. If it weren't for "Hawkman" holding him back, he would have flown down to play with them long ago.
Wonder Woman's eyebrows furrowed, and she shouted:
"Let's go! The Metropolis!"
Because of the presence of "Superman," most of the buildings in Metropolis have been reinforced, so there are the fewest collapsed buildings among all the cities we've visited.
There were no members of the "Criminal Syndicate" here either; instead, there was another group of superheroes they had never seen before, dressed in clothing or suits from the last century.
The reason Wonder Woman and her team identified these people as "superheroes" was because after they rescued a crying little girl, a beautiful woman covered in black stockings picked her up.
"Don't be afraid, child." The Black Siren comforted the little girl in her arms again and again.
Taking advantage of the moment when the other person raised their hand, Wonder Woman noticed that all of them were wearing a ring on their right hand.
The ring with the word "JS" on it was always worn by the "outsider".
"We're still not needed here," Wonder Woman said. "Let's go to San Francisco."
The members of the Teen Titans are rescuing civilians and fighting criminals in the city.
"We can't keep running blindly. The Teen Titans are good people to ask; what do they know?"
"Lantern Man" said, watching "Superboy" moving through the city.
The other superheroes nodded and continued to wander around the world like headless flies, making no progress on their goal of defeating the "crime syndicate".
"Who's going?" Wonder Woman asked, looking at them.
"I... I know the 'Raven' among them very well," Stargirl said, stepping forward.
Wonder Woman nodded, and the other superheroes hovered in the sky, watching Stargirl fly towards the Teen Titans.
A few minutes later, "Stargirl" returned. She didn't say anything superfluous, but pointed in the direction of "Rhodes Island": "Suicide Squad, Rogues, Poison Ivy, the Crime Syndicate's Night Owl and Atom, Teen Titans, Justice Society..."
Injustice League...
"During the seventy-two hours we were trapped in the Matrix, the Outsiders saved the world."
