The next day, several employees from various departments arrived as scheduled, and because they had made ample preparations beforehand, they handled the situation perfectly.

Ultimately, all the departments signed the inspection report.

Now, the mine is finally fully completed.

The two recruited employees also arrived at the mining area around noon.

The excavator operator, Dubois, was a middle-aged man in his fifties who appeared honest and kind.

Bowman, the dump truck driver, was in his forties, always smiling and very talkative. He and Edward hit it off immediately.

"She's your boss's wife, so don't even think about making a move on her!" Edward immediately warned.

"Haha, I'm just praising beautiful things. I have a perfect family and lovely children, I wouldn't do anything reckless."

After settling the two in, Edward showed them around the entire mining area.

Personnel, machinery, and equipment are all in place; everything is ready, just waiting for warmer weather.

It seemed as if the heavens were looking out for Zhou Xin. The next few days were sunny and clear, the temperature rose rapidly, and the permafrost was melting quickly.

With nothing to do these past few days, Zhou Xin decided to take Logan into the mountains to hunt.

Zhang Jianing seemed very interested in this matter and strongly requested to be included.

So the two men and the wolf disappeared into the forest and began to experience the joy of hunting.

Suddenly, a bird took flight from the woods.

Just then, a wolf howled in the distance, followed by the crowing of a rooster.

"Prey!"

A flock of grouse scattered in fright, and one of them was already in Logan's mouth.

"We can have an extra meal tonight!" Zhou Xin squinted at the grouse that had already run far away, then pulled out his pistol and fired two shots.

Two grouse rolled on the ground, having been shot by Zhou Xin.

Zhou Xin put away his pistol, a satisfied smile spreading across his face.

It seems my marksmanship has improved again.

Zhang Jianing excitedly ran over and brought back two plump grouse.

"I feel that the wildlife in this area is about to enter a nightmare period."

Zhou Xin laughed heartily: "If they're not delicious enough, I'll consider going easy on them."

They carried the three grouse back to camp: one was used for soup, one for barbecue, and the other was steamed for Logan to enjoy alone.

The following day, Alo, Dubois, and Bowman began to act according to Zhou Xin's plan.

Edward, deep in thought, picked up his gold pan and began to confirm his hypothesis.
